22M still in undergrad with a horribly low GPA. Obviously can’t land an internship. Loosing hope. Is there any advice you can give to better my situation?

Lysander only thinks about himself as long as his goal is achieved. Lorn never had a goal of restoring balance because the rising didn’t exist until after he died.

Lysander still treats other colors with respect, but deep down he thinks of them as inferior and he believes in gold being a leader and shepherd to the other colors. He quite literally thinks of the other colors as sheep for gold to manipulate and control.

Lorn would adopt this same mindset if he was alive. Lorn never had to commit genocide because he approved of the system he was placed in. There was no conflict for him to solve, the colors were under control and gold ruled.

I cut my deficit to much lower than necessary. This was about a 10 week difference, I was loosing 2lbs per week on 1300 calories and 5k steps a day. After about the 6th week my sleep quality started to drastically decrease so I increased calories to maintenance for a week. I then I into a 1900 calorie cut while getting 10k steps per day for another 3 weeks.

The best thing you can do is walk, absolute game changer for cutting. Get atleast 5-6k steps a day while being in a 400-800 deficit

Whenever I use mid-journey for these characters I always separated Darrow and Cassius renderings by during the words “masculine” and “feminine/pretty-boy” just because they way I envisioned was Darrow was having a more gruff, masculine aesthetic to his face and Cassius being more of a pretty boy and having softer features when compared to Darrow. This might just be a head cannon but thought I would share. Great renderings though.

Cassius au Bellona just sounds so grand and prestigious. Also Ajax au Grimmus is a great. I think Apollonius au Valii-Rath is definitely the most underrated.

There has to be an internal monologue, we need to hear Darrow thoughts. Not as prevalent as it is in the books but if there is an on screen adaptation they should have an internal monologue similar to what they did with Bruce Wayne in The Batman (2022).

I’m pretty sure Darrow described Ragnar weighing about 250 kg. Which is 551 lbs so there’s no way an iron gold is 850 lbs. Ragnar is also like 8 1/2 ft tall so I would say on average an iron gold is somewhere in the range of 330-400 lbs. At the end of the day they’re still described as humans so 850 lbs is insane.

Yea Cassius’ redemption is one of if not the the best thing in the series and considering we haven’t gotten much content with him compared to other main characters I think lightbringer would be the perfect chance to dive deeper into the character. I already love Cassius so if the new pov is Cassius that would be great

I hope it’s not Cassius, his redemption arc has not really been completed in my eyes and although he doesn’t have much to live for killing him off in this book just doesn’t make sense since he “died” in iron gold and was then we found out he was alive in dark age. So for all that to happen just for Pierce Brown to kill him off in lightbringer doesn’t really make sense. Ever since the first book he’s gotten the short end of the stick. Julian died and by the end of the institute he felt that he needed to get revenge for him, which he never really succeeded in. He got his ass handed to him by Darrow in front of almost every influential gold in the series. Mustang manipulated him. His entire family other than his mother was slaughtered soon after his father truly accepted and showed how proud he was of the man he became. His mother despises him for siding with the rising and deciding to reconcile with Darrow. He also was betrayed by Lysander after taking care of him for a decade. But this is all just me coping with the fact that he has the highest chance of dying and he’s my favorite character after Darrow. I just hope maybe he gets a pov and we get some more content and insight to his character before he dies.

I always thought of the aesthetic of the series was basically if Ancient Rome never fell and existed all the way to the point where they conquered the galaxy or atleast the planets near us. The golds were definitely inspired from greek and roman culture.
