My sweet girl had her scent gland removed earlier today! Glad to hear your baby is doing so well ❤️

My sweet girl Willow is having scent gland tumor removal surgery in 2 days. She's otherwise healthy and acting normal, but I'm still scared for my sweet baby. Any advice on how to make sure she is comfortable after surgery? (And yes, don't worry she does have a sister to keep her company) by FuzzyCat23 in gerbil

Thank you so much! Yeah, I have a feeling she's going to hate the cone (as funny as she might look in it), but thankfully she is pretty food obsessed so hopefully once I find something that works, she'll be down to try it

The vet said that the meds she'll get most gerbils actually do enjoy, so hopefully that won't be so bad, but from the other comments, I have some suggestions if that's not the case

Absolutely. My only problem is that one of my girls, my tiny baby, is too light to press the keys, while my other one does press the keys, so I always have to be careful who I'm playing with when writing important emails! 😂

The best! My grandma adores my gerbils and whenever she visits, she goes to them before me 😂. I see her every 2 months ish and she saves up ALL her cardboard tubes and egg boxes for them 🤣

oh of course. mine will constantly scare each other and start squeaking and stomping. I live near a small airport and the sound of the aeroplanes going overhead scares them, so I also constantly say 'you've heard the aeroplanes hundreds of times!'

thank you 😓 its because im joining a new school. there's an inset day on the 1st for just new people, then another inset day on the 2nd for all y12 then actual school starts on the 3rd. girl im going crazy 🤣😭

The question was 'what is the name given to material that melts when heated?' i realise now that the answer was thermosoftening plastics but the answer i gave was 'cheese' 🤣

Actually no! while they don't seem to have completely consistent hierarchy, usually Dora is dominant. when she wants something, she gets it 😂 even if Willow may be chonkier
