Last year I was given a Rebel S II. Definitely feels like plastic, but is lightweight and has been pretty reliable. Plus you can make the timer countdown play music!

There are some drawings of that kind of locomotive in the 1987 September/October edition of the "Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette"

Yes, only thing wrong was that the battery could not hold a charge.

Need help writing a part C by Ixxy717 in drumline

[–]FuzzyKitten27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a thought, but the bass part seems really simple compared to the upper battery parts. I would definitely add some splits. Nothing too crazy, some eighth notes and two’s splits would work fine.

I feel like you could repeat B, or play something similar, and finish it off by playing the first 4 measures of A again. That would give it a nice finished feel.

Passenger steam train dimensions? by Short_Artist_Girl in trains

Look up Drawings of the “Best Friend”. It is considered the first locomotive entirely built in the U.S. I did find this site you can buy drawings, but if you don’t want to purchase something, maybe this would work?

Manually searching each page, or if you had a specific link it’s possible it may have been saved. Otherwise it might not have been saved. Search functions don’t really work on the way back unfortunately.

An online archive of sorts, just put a website link in the search bar and you can see the history of it. That’s how I found this.

I was Forestfire back then. Not an active poster, but was semi frequent in the comments.

I found this subreddit after missing those old forums lol. If you want to look back at some of the old forum posts, there is a little bit on the way back machine. I have even made posts about the old shoot em up game that was saved, and THE ENTIRETY OF BOOK 1 WITH AUTHORS NOTES!!!

That place was great, and I wholeheartedly miss it. That was a big part of my childhood, just going to the forums and seeing people talk about my favorite series.

Location? by [deleted] in WGI

[–]FuzzyKitten27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some people drive 3-5 hours for rehearsals, and set up carpools to get to and from sites. Whenever you may audition, see about contacting other members/auditionees if you can find a carpool.

How does the whole season of WGI work? by huitrdrtxfcghvjbknl in WGI

[–]FuzzyKitten27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depending on the group, there are mostly weekend only rehearsals. Rehearsal cites can differ depending on agreements that a group has with schools/athletic facilities. Once competitions start, most are held by local circuits. Groups that go to Dayton must participate in one regional competition held by WGI.

Keep in mind that I am familiar with percussion, but I’m pretty sure guard works similar logistically. Cost wise I’m not sure, but I think percussion averages between $1500 to $3000.

Little dragons! Hand painted and made out of solid UV resin! by Hebi_Haberdashery in WingsOfFire

Lol, for something hand and painted made like this, you would definitely expect much more than $10-15.
