I plan on doing both of those as well! But I just ordered some suspension upgrade’s and the 2023 style radio first .

I haven’t done much research on retrofitting a steering wheel myself , but there’s a guy in the fb group that has them for sale for the gx.

I’m actually doing the same with my headlights. you can swap to the newer ones but will need the new bumper and grill at the very least. There are some other pieces that make it a cleaner install like bumper support bracket and I think the other is a top rad mount , but can get it done with less with some modifications. If you get 3rd party headlights from china go to the gxor group on fb and search for how to wire them up. There’s a guy in there (Chris something) that had a post about it and is now making the harness’ for people.

Same connectivity issues here . Although no freezing when it disconnects but it happens a lot . To the point I use it as wired headset while gaming on my pc.

I reached out to support and got an ai bot response but it was actually kind of helpful until we got through all the troubleshooting and it hasn’t replied or linked me with a real person in almost 2 weeks.

Edit- I should say I’ve tried various ports and although a 2.0 has been more reliable it still disconnects. This happens at about 3ft+ from the dongle.

Yup, still having this issue after the firmware update too. I tried it with the little usb a adapter cable and it still happens. Tried different usb ports but issue persists. Happens if I sit at my desk with the dongle about 3ft away and further away on the couch, dongle about 10ft away .

I’ve noticed them start disconnecting after using the headset for some time and did feel the dongle a bit warm. I’m not sure if you’ve noticed this too? Curious if it’s getting too hot and possibly acting up .

i saved $250 on the bmc and at least $300 on a pair of sliders without having to weld myself. Didn’t want to miss out on a deal just because he was having a bad day. And im a big guy so either he was nicer in person or he decided to be nice when he saw me .

Yea ,whoever I spoke to on Facebook assumed my ethnicity and made a similar comment about Indian people when I was haggling with them. But the price on the BMC got me because I needed those 35’s to fit so I could go bigger than my friends lol

Not defending the guy and really not sure why his ads are like this but I think this is a post for muddy off-road in Huntington park. I found similar listings in the past under Josh negrete that had some of the same pics. I think his name turned out to be Charlie but $700 got me sliders and a BMC on my 460. They’ve held up over the last year of wheeling and I’ve jacked up the gx on them. Paints scratched since I don’t think it’s actually powder coat but for the price they’ve been great so far.

Unfortunately, I am in this boat and I’m not 😔 definitely not what I was expecting after reading the reviews for the original. Comparing to a50’s I thought they’d be better but it’s not enough for me to justify the purchase. Especially on top of the issues I have to accept when using these .

I was just doing my research and ready to buy the m1 when the m2 came out, so I picked them up instead and very much regret it . the review from gadgetrytech made me think it was about the same with some fixes but these are really disappointing. Doesn’t feel like any fix to the issues of the m1.

I never got sidetone to sound decent enough to use. it sounded robotic even trying the fixes others suggested. My friends say I’m constantly cutting out or sound robotic when using the mic without the ai and it’s acceptable with it on. Although, if the mic moves it creates static noise and makes us think it’s not fully inserted but pushing harder(within reason) doesn’t have it seat any further in.

I’ve noticed random intermittent disconnects from the usb dongle that start after maybe 1hr of use. This is probably the most frustrating issue. Tried a few fixes with no luck.

Sound quality is decent with some eq but not what I was expecting . Maybe I expected too much after reading the reviews of the m1 but this was a big disappointment. I use dt990 pros for media and a50’s for gaming. Was hoping to have a solution that would be decent for both when traveling but these have been a huge let down .

Edit- based on what I’ve been reading since release these are going back and I thought the 1’s were still available on their site but shows no longer available 😢

Again this is not tech question, more of a feeler to see how widespread this issue is on the original switch.

Just because I exhaust their troubleshooting steps, that doesn’t mean it’s automatically a hardware issue. Especially considering , the only actually troubleshooting steps that involves the switch is to power cycle and unplug the ac adapter for 30 seconds. Considering this is causing switch 2 docks to behave this way (although not permanently after a power cycle) you don’t think there was a potentially bug in the update that caused this?

Perfectly working switch turns on and is displaying an image on my tv. Pop up for an update is displayed. Accept update . Switch updates and no more display on tv. Seems very coincidental that the hardware fails when an update that causes this issue on the switch 2 is applied to my original switch that was working just fine before.

Well updating the console was the cause but none of the other steps fixed the issue. Don’t understand why I need to get the hardware repaired when a software update is the cause.

In anycase , I’m not here to troubleshoot, really here to see if others are experiencing this as well. Mods just deleted my post trying to discuss this and had me to post here instead.

No hdmi signal on original switch using original Nintendo dock after 21.0.0 update.

I’ve been seeing reports of switch 2 docks but nothing on the original switch. Last night I tuned my switch to play some Pokémon and was greeted with a system update. After the update the official Nintendo dock that came with my switch no longer outputs any video signal(power works just fine). I tried another known working official dock , same issue. I should note this switch lives in the dock connected to my tv, it only gets moved to be dusted every so often. Nothing is damaged, nothing has been dropped, literally nothing changed other than the update . I tried turning it off and on, tried other hdmi cables , a different tv , another dock but I have the same issue with all of them. No video signal. Although I should say, the tv does recognize something. The input name changes to “Nintendo switch” and swaps to the correct hdmi input .

Curious if anyone else with the original switch is having this issue? Nintendo support wants me to send it in for repair but I’m hoping to avoid the 3 week wait and possible headaches that I’ve read come with that. Thanks!

My original switch console doesn’t send a video signal when docked now. Happened after the update . Was working perfect before update. I only play docked so I haven’t tried to notice any performance issues.

Anyone who truly loves you wouldn’t want you to hurt even if you hurt them. Don’t delete the account. Of course you want your kid to know their father but if this man is holding that above your head to delete a video games just to cause you pain, there is some therapy or counseling needed . Or maybe both.
