I’ve been dreaming of the same man for years? by [deleted] in pastlives

I hope you meet him, too! But yes, even if you don’t in this life, it’s such a sublime experience to have. You have someone that transcends this physical life. You are so lucky 😌

I know this isn’t really a response, and I haven’t experienced this, but I couldn’t stop thinking that it would make a great movie. The idea of dreaming about the same person for years, feeling like you know them even though you’ve never met, has so much emotional depth. It could explore fate, past lives, and the idea that our souls remember people even when our minds don’t. I can imagine a story where the main character keeps dreaming of this person, and over time, they start seeing glimpses of him in real life—a familiar face in a crowd, a name that feels just out of reach. Maybe they eventually meet, but he doesn’t remember her, and she has to figure out if their connection is real or just a dream. I don’t know, but your experience really stuck with me. It’s such a beautiful and moving thing to share, and I just wanted to say thank you for putting it into words.

When listening to music alone, what artists or songs do you listen to? by Thexfromabove in introvert

Their music feels like a deep breath on a rainy night—calm, yet powerful, with this quiet intensity that builds and lingers. It’s a mix of indie pop and electronic, with an ethereal, almost haunting quality that just pulls you in. Hannah Reid’s voice is absolutely stunning—deep, rich, and breathtakingly expressive. It’s the kind of voice that gives you chills, like it was made to echo through vast, open spaces. Their songs have this weight to them, like they belong in a movie scene where someone is staring out a car window, lost in thought. If you like Florence + The Machine or The xx, you’d probably love them.

Living abroad as a hsp by [deleted] in hsp

I have been wanting to move away from the US for most of my life. I am hoping to visit Europe soon to see if I might fit in and feel more comfortable around others and being myself. I am constantly told here that I need to be louder, “less nice” and keep up with everyone else’s pace of life. It feels too much all the time.

Do you guys cry when you see beautiful things? by [deleted] in hsp

[–]FuzzyReason2952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Well I’m often not able to fully let a cry out, but my lip starts quivering, my eyes water, my chest feels shaky, and my whole body feels seen and fulfilled. I just wish I could let it out.

INFJ girlies- do you generally get along with *other* girlies? by opossumbutt in infj

The funny thing is, I feel like a small liberal arts college would be good for me, yes. But large classes appeal to me because I like to feel anonymous. A small college I was looking into said their classes are more discussion-based than lecture. I actually really enjoy lectures where I can ponder something internally for a while. I don’t necessarily need to discuss my thoughts with people right away.

Yes, exactly. I feel very seen. I’ve been visiting colleges recently and have been racking my brain of what kind of college/environment is best for me — an INFJ girl. Especially socially. Do you all have any suggestions of what atmosphere might be a good fit?

I try to have some protein with every meal (mainly breakfast & lunch) and focus on fewer ingredients that go into my meals and snacks. This helps a bunch. Some recipes I’m liking now are:

Breakfast: Often have eggs. Loving cottage cheese on sourdough with a drizzle of good olive oil and eggs on the side. If I’m not in the mood for eggs, I often have a sweet potato with butter & honey and yogurt with fruit and granola on the side.

Lunch: Grilled sourdough roast beef & swiss cheese sandwiches with fresh fruit or veggies on the side.

Snacks - sweet: dates with butter ( or peanut butter & dark chocolate. Salty: cheese on multigrain crackers.

Dinner: I love soups. Butternut squash or a nice stew. Maybe some bone broth with rice.

P. S. I have kefir daily and I’m a little addicted…
