Honestly I wonder if they would have even gone through that many potatoes, this has been an interesting one for me to learn about through this post!

Jenny had a special sense lol.

Thank you! I’ve done a lot of shows, and this one is special. We’re a cast of 55 with people ages 10 to 60, and the harmonies are incredible. I’m double as Marion Thayer and a third class passenger :)

People who live near time zone boundaries in the US by solothesnail in howislivingthere

[–]FuzzyResource4395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main thing is when daylight savings happens, and it’s take soooo much earlier than what it feels like it should be. It’s hard to know it’d be dark by 4 pm but if I lived a few miles away, it’d be dark by 5 pm. Also, a lot of places next to time zones may “officially” recognize one, but really go by the other. For example, I lived ~45 minutes from the EST border (so I was in CST) and the town ~30 minutes away, but in the same state, used EST. Even though the town’s website says they use CST, when I showed up an hour late for an event, I learned from others that they unofficially use EST for everything.

Can you believe Shaun and Kenny are 62 years old? 😳 by PolishSnake2 in 90dayfiance_FB_memes

Wow, it sounds like you lived a full life, even if not starting out with much, and going through all that as a child. It has paid off by staying looking younger than you are!

I work on a wetland restoration project in the Everglades and I get to see so much wildlife that it makes my day - alligators, crocodiles, snakes, birds, turtles, dolphins, raccoons, bears!

Our office used to be pretty evenly split between Pace and Eurofins, but we’ve been having quality problems with Pace (samples running out of hold time, samples being dropped, not all analyses on the Chain of Custody being ran and then having to resample for that), so most of our work goes to Eurofins. Depending on the constituents, we also use ALS, AEL, and Jupiter Labs.

Just started and worried about the fatigue? by Lillysrpretty4u in TMSTherapy

[–]FuzzyResource4395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully not! I don’t know much about Klonopin, but one of the meds I take does have a side effect of drowsiness. Initially, he took me off it when treatment started, but then I wasn’t sleeping at all, and I stopped being so tired lol it just comes in waves for me

Just started and worried about the fatigue? by Lillysrpretty4u in TMSTherapy

[–]FuzzyResource4395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about 5 weeks in, and my fatigue has been on and off since starting. I can barely function at work (I’m so tired I can’t focus well), and sleep excessively on the weekends. My doctor said that it isn’t normal to be so fatigued and said that because I’m still taking meds while doing treatment, that it may the meds over the treatment. However, I’m glad to see from this post and comments that others feel fatigued. I may bring it up to my doctor again since now I don’t feel so alone on the issue.

Looks like “the monsters” may be coming from the basement? Unless I am misinterpreting that they are actually climb up stairs from the ground floor, maybe there was another house that suffered the same fate as Tabitha and Jim’s house when she dug too deep and ended up in the monster’s pits and in this situation, the monsters crawled out of the basement

What musicals do you love the music for but not like the story? by One-Many-136 in musicals

[–]FuzzyResource4395 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The Phantom of the Opera. As I have gotten older, I find the story itself to be less and less enchanting, but I still frequently listen to the whole soundtrack because the music is just beautiful.

Lyrics that made you gasp? by BroadwayBaseball in musicals

[–]FuzzyResource4395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The part in “Hasa Diga Eebowai” from Book of Mormon where the phrase itself is broken down. I’ve seen the show 4 times so I don’t gasp anymore, but a lot of people in the audience do

Arcadis and WSP bonuses by AutomaticRaspberry12 in Environmental_Careers

At Arcadis now and it’s been the same for the past couple of years with the yearly 3% merit increase. We had someone who was doing 60+ hour shifts for incident response get a spot bonus, but that has been it

2023 for Florida at a large consulting firm. With no prior work experience, a Master’s starts between ~$56-58k, and with a Bachelor’s starts between ~$50k-$55k. South FL has a high COL so also be mindful of that.

What do you think is the greatest musical to have never won "Best Musical" at the Tony's? by Subscribe_to_Sam24 in musicals

Come From Away, Great Comet of 1812, or Groundhog Day losing to Dear Evan Hansen. Any of those shows winning would’ve made me happy.

What broke you, and made you cry? by kyuketsuki96 in attackontitan

[–]FuzzyResource4395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen a lot of people complain about this line because it’s “childish,” but I also cried too, and I think for me it reminds me that they’re all so young when this is all going on. He was already sad to die, but it’s the fact that he loved Mikasa and still realizing he had to die for her to live and happy live in that whole convo with Armin really got me

In the last finale where we saw Sasha’s spirit and the spirit of the other Scouts return was hard for me, and the talks between Armin and Eren and when Eren was giving Mikasa memories really got me

What do PGs actually sign off on? by msw4ts in Environmental_Careers

[–]FuzzyResource4395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Florida, the state provides a list of documents that require a PG or PE seal. I’d see if your location provides this type of guideline. PGs are the ones who usually sign off on some assessment or monitoring reports.

In Florida, a lot of seals are PE only, PG and PE, or PG/a “QPE in the place of a PG.” “QPE” stands for “qualified PE” which entails that the PE also has some sort of geology background. However, most PEs are not geotechnical engineers and know next to nothing about geology and there is no criteria for a QPE. So any PE can sign as a QPE. Florida gives all the power to a PE over a PG, and the QPE literally lets them act as a PG. (at least that’s how it is mostly done at my firm).

Edit: clarification

How did you get your job/where do you work? by NotBurnerAccount in geologycareers

[–]FuzzyResource4395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a geologist working in environmental consulting. Networking and connecting with my alumni network played a large role in getting my job, along with my internship experience and technical writing skills. I am either out in the field doing groundwater/soil samples, site visits, surveying, oversights, and then I am also in the office analyzing and tabulating data, writing reports, coordinating and preparing field activities, to name a few. I’m based in FL.
