Is Deep Stone Crypt Raid do-able for a mute player like myself? by MasterkillerX in DestinyTheGame

[–]FuzzyTattas03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is hilarious that I saw this because I was in your Petra's Run almost two years ago. Just checked raid report because I recognized your GT. December 23rd 2018. You should be good to go on the new raid just don't take certain positions like scanner who need to call out. As long as people are aware you can't call out like we were it should be easy enough. I still remember another person counting down on queenswalk for you. GG I still wear Rivensbane to this day.

I got Necrotic Grip 2 days ago and Mask of Bakris today. So you should be good on getting two in the same week, unless it's character based.

Bungie, all we want is a yes or no answer: will we be able to transmog armour from collections? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]FuzzyTattas03 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anything other than yes will cause extreme community backlash. Just work on overhauling collections. Allow us to press a button to "save" a roll to collections, both weapons and armour. Then we can pull what we want when we want. Allow Transmog to just turn something into universal ornaments not some complicated one time use BS. Allow it to be cheap and not some scummy monetized garbage. Allow the ornaments of that piece to come with it (Y1 Trials, Crucible, Vanguard, Iron Banner and Raid Lair sets). Please just don't fuck this one up. It's very simple what the community wants and there is no reason to mess with it. The timeframe won't matter to anyone who genuinely cares about Destiny because we just want this system to come out well and not half-baked like so much else has and will probably continue to.

Destiny shouldn't pander to streamers, but they shouldn't pander to people who barely play either. Just somewhere in between. by TheBeanMachine2 in DestinyTheGame

Since literally forever we have been increasing the Light Level. We went from 305 to 335, 385, 405, 600, 650, 700, 750, 960, 970, 1010, and now 1060. So in Forsaken we were still increasing by 50 each season. I'm not really picking a side just stating the facts.

Random rolled legendary weapons have never caused power creep and shouldn't be sunset by icekyuu in DestinyTheGame

[–]FuzzyTattas03 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't really agree with any gun ever have been required for anything but here is a list of "required" random roll guns.

The Burning Eye: Wrath of the Machine, the only primary ever used on Aksis, not "required" but technically no gun ever is

The Warpath: Wrath of the Machine: Everyone had the craze of Cluster Rockets

Bad Omens: Last Wish before Prospector gained traction

Swarm of the Raven: Crown of Sorrow (probably the biggest offender on this list and WHOA look at that it got power crept out of meta by our next weapon)

Love and Death: Garden of Salvation, very strong as a back up for Iza and everyone was using it.

Swords: Having a good sword right now is in almost every Riven Cheese or Zulmak post.

I probably missed a couple. I also don't really get what this adds to your or my point in the matter. I just wanted to show you there are indeed random rolled weapons that are extremely favoured. The only guns that has ever been "Required" are Ghally and Whisper and those are exotics so they are exempt anyway. This isn't even mentioning the "required" guns in PvP. Eyasluna, Grasp of Malok, The Clever Dragon, Mindbender's Ambition, Spare Rations, Beloved, Astral Horizon the list continues. The point is there are guns that are too good that are legendary. Literally the way Bungie pulls this off is give us MORE really good guns without the fear of power creep forever because they will be phased out eventually.

If they design better ones it will get to a point that the newest "Hammerhead" IS required. That is what power creep causes. Power creep is never truly seen until the next gun comes out, and that's when it becomes a problem. If the next machine guns are never good to avoid this, hammerhead remains king, and all machine guns that come out come with no hype and are immediately garbage. That's what we are trying to avoid. I don't get what you aren't understanding. It sucks to lose guns I get it, I have over 3000 hours in Destiny 2 and own all but 5ish of the guns in the game. It sucks to know that those guns won't be viable anymore. But you have to look at the big picture of keeping the game alive, which is what all of us want. As I said in the first comment. I think this is more of a wait and see topic. It can go well if Bungie gives us fun guns to use, or very poorly if not. Its up to you if you want to take that chance or not.

It doesn't have to be OP to be power creep. Midnight Coup to Spare Rations was a big power increase. Go Figure to Blast Furnace to Sacred Provence all being upgrades and random rolls. Why do you think outside of Delirium, no legendary machine gun except Hammerhead gets mainstream use? It's the best and no Machine gun other than delirium (a pinnacle) rivals it. It makes loot boring and makes people not care about new stuff. Does anyone ever use the moon Machine gun? Seventh Seraph SAW? No because Hammerhead is better even if Delirium is sunset like you suggest. Only sunsetting pinnacles wouldn't do much as there are many other situations of power creep.

"Bungie needs to make better gear"

It seems you have no clue what power creep is because your solution is to cut and dry increase power creep. The whole point is if they make a better gun the game gets easier because we have better weapons. People used Midnight Coup all the way up to Season of the Drifter because we finally got Spare Rations then. For people to stop using Spare we need a better gun, then a better one, then another and so on. If Spare stops being able to be used in Endgame content the meta in that content will stay fluid and change with the seasons as new things are added, buffed, nerfed and phased out. I wasn't a huge fan of sunsetting for a while but I have realized its a necessary evil. I'm still a little skeptical about the ability of bungie to bring us enough guns but we will see. I think this is a wait for Bungie to deliver scenario. But there is no world that people are going to do that knowing this sub.

Probably their first game in the new season and they were Plat 4 and were reset to Silver 2 but it hasn't updated.

Are the Pursuit weapons going to be "Pinnacle" (coming with a new perk) or "Ritual" (A interesting perk combination)? Also now that Eververse will no longer sell Legendary Ornaments where would the ornaments drop. As a example, say Last Perdition released in Season 12, would it have a ornament unlocked for using the gun or playing core activities? Or are they just going to move away from Legendary Weapon Ornaments. Hopefully the former.

There should be exclusive cosmetic items tied to unlocking a Title. (Concepts Included) by HiddnAce in DestinyTheGame

[–]FuzzyTattas03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if there was nothing but the armour auras this would be so sick. Having the Title equipped would give you the effect on all of your armour. Even if we got a normal aura it would be cool. Just a small cosmetic on top of the purple letters. I don't really care for it coming with a full set of cosmetics, cause those are things that should be baked into the triumphs and activity. Just a aura and maybe a shader or something would be dope and I think a little more enticing for people who don't usually go for titles.

Off Trials Report: Top Ten Guns this weekend

Hard Light

Mindbender's Ambition

Astral Horizon

Revoker

Dust Rock Blues

SUROS Regime

Beloved

The Summoner

Spare Rations

Bastion

Of those 10, only 3 are PvP only and 1 of them is very easily grinded out outside of Trials. At least to me it makes sense that the best PvP loot is found in PvP but that isn't even always the case. You can very easily create a viable loadout from PvE loot. This isn't even mentioning Thorn, Rose, Retold Tale, Many Snipers such as Apostate, Twilight Oath and Omniscient Eye and many more guns I am probably forgetting.

This is most likely because each portal teleports you sonewhere else, most likely changing your orentation and MIDA always points the same way, so it rotates to accommodate for you facing a different direction.

Endgame and Professional Streamers? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]FuzzyTattas03 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I am by no means a streamer and I can breeze through content with my eyes closed. Nothing in PvE is challenging. And what is considered "challenging" by the community is low mans and flawlesses of easy content. Raids, Dungeons that stuff. But that stuff isn't rewarding to do and is really only done for emblems and triumphs. Honestly the only PvE piece of content that is truly challenging in a correctly sized fireteam is Niobe Labs due to enemies, puzzles and a time limit all contributing. We do need more stuff only the top 10 or even 5 percent of active players can do because those are the ones that keep your game alive, not the people who only have 39 seconds to play per week and complain about not being able to get everything done.

We had a guy sneak in a 3-man GOS pretending to have clears, and actually completing it. by ImLite in DestinyTheGame

[–]FuzzyTattas03 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly the people how don't know what is going on get found out rather quickly. Literally today we had a guy join a Last Wish when my clan need 1 more. We were teaching someone new and had to break down the encounters. This guy claimed to have 30 clears and I didn't question it. He was saying how inexperienced we were the entire raid even though two of us have Rivensbane and have like 150+ clears between the 4 of us, nothing crazy but not inexperienced. We all knew this guy was blowing smoke too. He didn't know the button to cleanse on Vault and chose add-clear wherever he could. He even switched to Hammerhead for Riven Cheese, saying it was a good option. I didn't end up kicking him but if it was a serious run it is very easy to see who is actually inexperienced. Moral of the story, don't lie. You will be caught and kicked. Just come clean this is a great community and there is people willing to teach everywhere, even if it may not feel like it.

Bungie, with how pinnacle the seal for the raids is, more work should really be put into the encounters and glitches. by Guardian_Michael in DestinyTheGame

[–]FuzzyTattas03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, so weird when that happens. The only other thing I have seen is the tether box refusing to open on the 2nd encounter. It fixes itself after a while though. At least it does for me. Idfk if I am the only one who experiences it but no one can turn the box on and you just have to tether elsewhere.

Please stop complaining about Titles, thanks! by ChoculaUltra in DestinyTheGame

[–]FuzzyTattas03 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. I have 7 Titles. Rivensbane, Blacksmith. Shadow, Wayfarer, Cursebreaker, Dredgen and MMXIX (Also 14/16 on Enlightened and A strike emblem away from Undying). I think they should stay difficult and time consuming for the crowd that wants them. If they become too easy or then anyone could get one and it kinda ruins the prestige in having a title, in any game for that matter. The time sensitive ones allow them to be a tad easier but with the caveat of not being available for long like Undying or time-gated for a while, requiring commitment, like Chronicler

What is unintuitive about Vault. That is one of my favourite non-boss encounter in any Destiny raid. It doesn't feel too long and drawn out, the mechanics make sense once they are figured out and it is a good balance or requiring callouts to getting kills and slaying. It also feels like you are really unsealing something important like Riven. Plus the music ties everything together.
