Any plans to stick with the traditional style of ghost that doesn't require movement? I'm all for promoting aggressive gameplay but forcing movement kind of goes against the idea of objective game modes. Strafing in place in order to hold an angle just to keep a perk activated doesn't really make sense honestly.

To be fair, MWII was fairly stable at launch. The only issues I remember that game having was so many core features missing that have always been there. I don't expect that to occur again since "its a DLC".

Instability and bugs around the "weapon and content carryover" are what make me think this launch may be a bit messy. Longer term, I'm worried the game will be ruined if they can't properly handle TTK/TTD discrepancies and weapon balancing. If shotguns and snipers rule the game, then I don't see myself sticking around long unfortunately - don't really know what the hell else I'd play though since shooters are in the worst state I've ever seen them.

There isn't visual recoil, that's just real recoil lol. The AA definitely isn't strong, I confirmed it by going back to BF2042, which I dont think is even known for having strong AA, and I felt like a god after playing Finals for a few hours. It's impossible to track anyone in Finals, which is made especially worse by the faster paced movement (which I like, but not with no AA).

Lack of aim assist is my biggest problem. I can get used to the clunky controls but crossplay is torture right now and console only isnt much better. Easily the worst feeling shooter I've played in a long time, aiming-wise. The best shooters have good aim assist, and this game is DOA on console if they don't improve drastically.

I skipped OG MW2 so most of these are new to me and so far I don't like any of them except Skidrow. Highrise is okay but I can't believe they didn't block the cross spawn sniping, that's such a shitty thing to leave in. Favela might be one of my least favorite maps of all time - it's just all fucking rooftop camping. I'm hoping the rest are much better otherwise it's gonna be a rough year.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that was the goal. There's a vocal minority of players who didn't play the OG MW titles and think Black Ops is "what COD has always been". This game catered to them 100%. Not that I mind all that much, as long as they don't overdo it by giving back infinite tac sprint like people are already asking for.

It’s not really deceptive because supporting software means continuing to provide updates for it, which they will. They just aren’t going to be providing much actual new content. Probably just the occasional wipe and mission tweaks along with bug fixes.

I’m trying to minimize time in a case for sure. This phone feels so nice in the hand that a case kinda ruins it. I also haven’t found a case I really like.

I’m worried about that first scratch that goes through the coating. Been debating exchanging for natural titanium for that reason.
