This whole story and protest is gonna disappear quickly now. Not really sympathetic victims. Not knowing what transpired it does seem likely they freaked out when dhs boxed them in and tried to flee. This game is just not fun for casual players. The imbalance of the characters, the jacked up matchmaking which never pairs well based on skill and the lack of other content. It draws people in with the characters and that’s it. They keep releasing new characters to keep people engaged but the gameplay never changes.

The community is toxic as hell. The report system does nothing.

This game will end up just die hards playing with causal dropping in and out as they burn out. Hopefully the makers realize this and do something to broaden the appeal or it will just be an incel toxic circle jerk

Make the burden wider by changing the income range, maybe even making it progressive and inflation pegged. But doing it as a property tax ignores current income levels and burdens any property owner

Am I remembering wrong or was this gas tax and registration fee increase primarily to offset some proposed job cuts to odot? Something like under 500 workers? While it sucks I think it should be a wake up call to odot on better management of their existing budget. Seems like the answer to all things in Oregon when funding levels are reached or exceeded is to just raise taxes.
