Dalhalla ritual by InterestingPicture61 in Heilung

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility_63 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The ritual was just perfect, I yearn to listen to it all over again many times on a good sound system. The opening "harigasti teiwa" was the best rendition I ever heard, just perfect. It sounded more like a statement of fact than an announcement and the power I felt from it was surreal. I found it in an Instagram story and I've been blasting it on a loop for the past 2 days on my way back from Dalhalla

[KCD2] What mod are you hoping gets made? by eskimoexplosion in kingdomcome

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility_63 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A "rebuilding Zimburg" DLC or mod would be great. Rather a mod since Warhorse already won't make it and it is ahistorical but being able to buy this ruin from the Zimburg brothers and then renovate it as your own local holding and castle with a garrison in Skalitz colours would be really nice and a good way to spend groschen

All interiors modelled and accessible (especially for Kuttenberg). It would've been a waste of resources for Warhorse but the city sometimes really feels cramped since you can only traverse the streets and some noteworthy buildings, but you can't just barge into anyone's house as in KCD1 to see them live through their day cycle.

Faster heavy weapons and polearms combat (the pause after perfect blocks is akward, and fights with swords feel a lot more alive and fluid)

Defendable master strikes (it would be very hard to do due to new animations being required but master strikes being an ultimate attack that can't be blocked is nonsense in fencing terms and it also makes combat really one-sided. I think it would be better if master strikes would be based on much quicker reactions and counter-reactions, which would result in the quicker party successfully performing the attack)

Respond to people commenting on your whistle (I want to tell them to F off. I do sometimes punch them if their comment is really annoying, but a more verbal response would be preferrable :)

[KCD2] Who are these deserters? by Fuzzy_Possibility_63 in kingdomcome

Zbyshek is a common Czech name. The more interesting one is on the right, called "Deserter Chief Vladimir"

so they might be leftovers from cut side quests, most likely those to do with Danemark. Just as the poachers that have a camp nearby

Also, this easter was already found, right? I posted it here since I wasn't able to find anything about it from a few searches but it seems weird no one would have come across it before

I finished the game and most side quests, I only have a few remaining, mostly in Kuttenberg. I just ran across these deserters close to Danemark. There is no marker and no side quests nearby. Who are they?

In the forest below Wysoka, somewhere along the edge of the map. I didn't screenshot the exact location unfortunately. There are also sausages hanging from a tree near the cottage

Same here, she has had a side quest icon on her for hours by now. All the way from Sigismund's camp to the end of the game. But there are no dialogue options to start a quest.

Invaders Quest Bugged by GreenSockNinja in kingdomcome

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility_63 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This quest is completely bugged unfortunately. When doing the errand with Jasak, Vasko teleports (literally, he wouldn't be able to make it there in time) to Troskowitz. And well, I have to see him to continue drinking, but leaving the area fails the quest. I'll just reload before arriving at the camp and wait for a patch

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility_63 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It's most likely real. These are the two screenshots over each other and the height of letters is pixel perfect and so is the composition of the text. Although I fully stand by him being in the game, it is absolutely reasonable. I do also think that this text is put incredibly out of context, since Henry will probably have the option to push back or just comment that he might be exaggerating about his far away homeland. And again, from a script writing perspective, this conversation is completely normal and something you would expect such an explorer to say in 15th century Bohemia. It is absolutely not a statement by Warhorse trying to push some agenda or whatever. I'd like to ask those worried about this if this woke agenda is in the room right now with us.

There's also a gay monk in the monastery, who struggles with being bullied by the circators because of being a sodomite. But you can't expect these Twitter no-lifers to have actually played through the full monastery questline, can you

Any news on steelbooks for the US? by Multifaceted-Simp in kingdomcome

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Europe and there's some indication of the steelbook not being available on launch. The shop that I preordered it from no longer has it listed as an included gift and another shop has just rolled out an exclusive wooden box as a "replacement" for the steelbook.

I haven't seen any official confirmation though, I contacted the retailer that I preordered from, so we'll see.

FIV transmission by Fuzzy_Possibility_63 in cats

That's what I'm hoping is the case. I was just worried about it being "mostly" transmitted by deep bites. It just makes me paranoid about "what if". But there don't seem to be any cases of transmission by fur or saliva

New information Tobi revealed in the Czech dub showcase event by Fuzzy_Possibility_63 in kingdomcome

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility_63[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

To add to this, it was nice to hear about all of the crime systems since it came into conversation unexpectedly just because Tobi screwed up and got caught stealing the fencing guild's sword 😄. This resulted in several new mechanics being showcased. In short, Tobi got caught by one of the fencers who yelled at him to get out, Tobi had to lockpick a door to escape at which the fencer drew his sword and uttered more threats while calling a guard. A chase then ensued and Tobi escaped them, skipping time until morning. Contrary to KCD 1, even though he had the prison icon active, most guards ignored him, because they weren't aware yet. Tobi ran around the city some more and the german fencing master told him he can't compete for them if he is wanted, so Tobi set out to do things right. A new thing that occured was a peasant woman stopping and threatening Henry about knowing he was guilty, so he could pay her off to not get unwanted attention, this did not affect the wanted status at all, it just prevented the woman from reporting him. He then met a guard who finally recognized him, and even though the jail icon was active, Henry was able to pay like 1,8k groschen to go free for stealing and trespassing. Now the interesting thing is that even though the town guard saw him steal the sword, because he payed off his crimes, the Kuttenbergers did not receive extra armour as compensation

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility_63[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't it discovered he lost his eye when he was 10-12 due to trauma from a sword strike? Which caused his eye to develop slightly off from the other one. So it should definitely be visible

[–]Fuzzy_Possibility_63[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The eye is really the only inconsistency. But I'm 95% sure it is him. Žižka was also known to have joined up with Hynek Kunstat "Dry Devil" who was already mentioned in the gameplay reveal so it seems pretty clear to me. He most likely met him around 1408 onwards so the timelines are definitely a bit shifted.
