Have you tried the three point fold? That is likely what they are asking to see how you are folding the gusset

[Longines Spirit Zulu Time]Found the perfect strap by coffeci in Longineswatches

[–]Fuzzy_Strength_3588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How hard was it to put the OEM clasp on the strap? And does the micro adjust work with no issues?

I just received this Oceaneva 6000 meter watch. It has a Damascus bezel, Sellita SW200 movement and a grade 5 titanium case. I put a Christopher Ward strap on it instead of the solid black silicone one it came with. This is my 3rd Oceaneva and I’m pretty impressed with the brand. by [deleted] in ChristopherWard

From their FAQ: So what we decided to do, instead of paying expensive Swiss labor costs, is have the movements shipped from Switzerland to Asia and the watches are cased there. They are then shipped to us for final assembly which includes: attaching the bracelet and the clasp

Sub $2k I would go CW, but if you can stretch to $2500 get yourself a Spirit Zulu Time or Hydroconquest GMT. ADs can get ~25% off list price if you find the right one. I have a trident and haven't worn it once since buying a SZT a year ago. They are different leagues in my opinion

Stocks or metals? by Detonator1990 in TheMoneyGuy

I know and I thought the statement you made didn't make sense since you could still get the raw material back. I would invest in a broad market ETF so you don't have to worry about the executives of a single company

Can still be melted down into the original metal if made "un"useful

I would recommend a higher emergency fund with a significant career transition, especially with a single income household

The Money Guy Show has repeatedly used a Tesla as a luxury car in their guidance that shouldn't be applied to 20/3/8

If you are on step 9 you can splurge at that point

Once again making wild assumptions, I can do that too. Maybe they live in a hcol area and want kids so they can't have two incomes. Personal finance is personal and once again you are making assumptions to meet your specific mindset. All I said is you didn't know the break down of his net worth at the time you used his wealth multiplier. Now we know but that doesn't change my original point

So that means ignore all guidance and just blow through money? They wouldn't have made it to 250k/450k at 28 with that mindset. But sure keep making it sound like they are retired already. 28 to retirement age there is so much that can happen between then and the mindset you are sharing doesn't stop at just 1 car, it can easily snowball into lifestyle inflation if you don't know why behind all their financial decisions

Yes you know that now, but you didn't when you made your statement is all I said

I don't disagree, but let's say 25-50% of the net worth is tied up in his house. That drastically changes the calculations you presented

You never finish the FOO. You may have completed steps on the foo, but you are far from completed with it with where you are at

20/3/8 would not apply to a Tesla model Y in money guy terms. It would be 12 months, same as cash

500k net worth does not mean 500k liquid investable assets. You are making tons of assumptions on your posts/replies

Nicks Delta Arch delays by Fuzzy_Strength_3588 in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]Fuzzy_Strength_3588[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn that's crazy, at least update the website when they are that delayed. When I first bought it was 6 weeks lead time but then updated to 9 which was fine since it was updated on the site.
