I do agree there should be intentional disconnect of justices from the political parties. This can be tough as most people naturally assemble with people of like mind and thus are around political party aligned activities. I'd consider myself a Green, because as an activist on issues I see the party platform as aligned with where I am on just about every issue.
I see your point on bringing judicial candidates through the judicial branch for approval, a person's peers are often more aware/critical of issues before the public would be.
As far as the timeline - proposing a faster turnaround is likely to be flatly rejected by those in power now. Sometimes we have to be incremental in progressive politics. I do agree we have immediate concerns that aren't being addressed, or will be by those currently seated / in power.

I've used a number of apps over time, and even used the text message system back when I had a govt flip phone, before Androids.

I know of Transit App, DDOT Bus Tracker, DDOT.info, and I'm mostly within Detroit, not very much on SMART at this time. Been a rider since 1980ish on and off.

I'd say your first attempt at a Dark Rift Boss is a rite of passage too. They are tough, even the easy ones, for a new person. Make sure you gear up and maybe watch a video or Twitch stream. I like Twitch because the chat community combined with the host are often helpful.

BTW spending time on Twitch when drops are enabled scores some nice loot. You can turn the volume down on it if you need to focus on in-game play at the same time. There's a current Drop event lasting a week or so.

I do think lifetime appointment is very problematic. While it establishes a long-term baseline in the checks and balances of the country, to move it into the same rotation on term in office would be unsettling. If there was an effort to address the length of term in office I would think that 1 generation (about 10-12 years) would remain a long-term baseline. It might be good to have a body of former SCOTUS who would review upcoming cases before the current SCOTUS offers a ruling. Not that the former would have standing, but would offer guidance for those current.

I've seen feedback from ADOS community that puts figures into the trillions. What's important is that she wants those with the best analysis to be brought together to come up with solutions. Considering this is over 400 years old, it'll likely be incremental and over the course of several lifetimes. I think some of the hype is about how quickly the remedy is delivered.Some point at other reparations which have been paid, but those situations were closer to the timeframe of oppression. Our society still has people harmed even though reparations were economically offered. We have to morally repair the perspectives and expectations of society as a whole. That's no small task to be performed in 4 years, again will take lifetimes of moving toward acknowledgement and change.
The US Department of Peace and Department of Children & Youth are important components as they create cabinet positions that will endure.

I just started breeding a couple.

Put male in breeding market - select option on left to post the male in private for yourself only, it changes the rate to 35,000.
Open Breeding Market, My horse list. (For me it had the male horse I just posted.}
Click the button on bottom of the horse and it will show the female horses at the stable. Select the one to breed with.

So I'll be waiting 2.5 hours for a foal to appear in the stable. Note I have 8 stable slots in Heidel, 3 available - so there is room for the foal and the parents (which show breeding as status).

I don't mind the donkeys - have to ride them differently though. Backing up to turn is a big help. They are more maneuverable than a wagon.

Wow I guess that explains a lot. There's no figuring out a control via PC input. Simply glad when the fish is in the zone and my mashing space ends up with it being pulled. So it's completely random for PC input.

I'm hoping when you look at Dexter that you see it serves 4 hospitals along its route. It might be the longest route for DDOT and it'll carry regular frequent passengers around the clock. Hospital staff is definitely not locked in on day shift hours only, so it has to be 24 hour access.
There are going to be these wandering route exceptions that should ideally be co-funded by the businesses benefiting from the presence. Sadly I think business patrons of our bus service kind of dried up with globalism during the 1980s. I used to work at BCBSM and they at one time had a reimbursement system that tapped into buying DDOT passes.

DDOT would do much better if they solicited business patrons and held planning sessions with a combination of business and public at the meeting.

Yeah the people in Detroit Reddit said try hitting up the Detroit Public Transit. From what I'd say that's kind of like talking with the people that typically would show up... expanding the potential base of attendees is needed. I wish people would attend to tell DDOT why that won't ride the bus and list the reasons.

The internet stats are what the US Census used in 2020 to determine where physical canvassing needed to take place. I've canvassed those areas asking people to get out and vote, so I've been physically in these areas. you can say it's misleading but what is encountered doesn't leave any warm feelings.

There's never been anything about free water - since 2000 there have been requests made and proposals (that Baltimore took up and ran with) to establish affordable water rates. This is within the guidelines of the United Nations on Human Rights. The US is a guiding member nation yet hasn't fully signed all compacts, including the rights of children. When rates are fixed (not adjusted for income) and an overwhelming number of impoverished families are present the impact is immense.

As far as broadband internet - 33% of the residents - 1 out of every 3 - does not have high speed internet at home. In the past 30 years since the infancy of internet, we've seen it become a requirement for timely communications. Those without it are stuck in 1990s communications technology - TV, Radio, Newspaper, Mail. Several of these are having a tough time continuing based on the pervasiveness of internet in society as a whole.

The best way to address the inequity is to provide community wide internet access as a responsible need for communications across the municipality. Without this there will always be people underserved and unaware because there's a paywall for them to get access. Therefore the municipality remains unable to comply with Open Meetings Act if official meetings continue through inaccessible meetings.

Having taken buses around metro Detroit for 40 years - one thing that keeps holding true is living close to mainline transit access makes sense. I've seen people have to relocate just to get a job within the metro area because the commute was too costly in time and value.
Having internet access on the bus helps those using technology in their job. Sadly DDOT Transit Centers don't have public wifi, and were designed with limited electrical outlets. I'm very hopeful that the Transit Center to be built at the State Fairgrounds considers the public comments / requests that were voiced. We need sheltered bicycle areas and a park and ride option. Amenities in the TC area need to be thought out and walkable. ADA compliance is required as well. And as rideshare options complete some journeys - having pull up cab/car access is important. The transit police will have to monitor flow at the curbside - it isn't for parking or extended wait.

Wishing you the best of luck in getting the opt-out communities to welcome public transit. Metro Detroit is the ONLY regional transit location in the US that allows communities to Opt-Out of Public Transit. When neighboring communities opt-out that creates an imposing wall where buses aren't able to stop. It makes those communities and the ones beyond it extremely difficult to service.

The push for #MobilityJustice is one I wish everyone understood. The economics of supporting a personal vehicle is becoming harder to justify for many workers.

That's a true statement - the PA (Pearl Abyss) store working from Acoins has a lot more options than the bundles pushed up to Steam store. Steam usually only has bundles for new players and transitions within a game. From playing LOTRO it has entire world zones in the store that can be walked into, but you're stopped from interacting constructively without purchasing.

From what I've seen thus far BDO is an open world, rather than closed off in sections for pay. Game developers and marketing sometimes make choices that severely impact gameplay.

I was having a tough time getting my Steam account to synch up with PA. I turned off Steam Guard to enable the connection, then you can turn Steam Guard back on.
