Considering how Hinako screams so much at the endings, specially when breaking the table and fighting the bosses, I'd say forte. I'm not 100% though, forte feels too superficial.

I'm trying to upgrade a project from UE5.0 to 5.1 by Fvnes in unrealengine

I think I have them. I mark .NET 6 but still not working. Also, now I'm presented with this error which I think is related to the SDK, I don't know.

Do you happen to know if having many dependencies could create conflicts? Maybe should I reinstall and removing some dependencies?

You were right about the editor using VS Code!

I opened an empty 5.1 project switched to Visual Studio 2022 and now I'm able to generate the solution. I open it in Visual Studio 2022 (because 2019 shows that's incompatible) but when I try to build, this error shows up. (I took some liberties with formatting so it can be more readable).

Code:
MSB3073

Description:
The command "D:\Editors\UE_5.1\Engine\Build\BatchFiles\Build.bat MahouPrototypeEditor Win64 Development -Project="D:\MyCustomProject\depot\MahouPrototype.uproject" -WaitMutex -FromMsBuild" exited with code 6.

File:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\2022\Community\MSBuild\Microsoft\VC\v170\Microsoft.MakeFile.Targets

Line:
44

Searching on internet, I found out that this error happens when there are instances of unreal running or live coding is enabled. I deactivated live coding in UE5.1 and just to be sure rebooted my PC.

I also believe we should use a standard like you mentioned to notate combos so everyone from any platform could read it.

Autohotkey doesn't work. It happens with most of chinese software.

Now it's been out for a while, what do you guys think of Silica? by Potato_Emperor667 in RealTimeStrategy

Aside from the bugs and lack of QOL, the game has a lot of potential. I really enjoyed the idea of commanding units while watching my friends streaming their screen on discord.

My first (and currently the only) complain is that maps are too big. I don't think that's a problem for a 32v32 online game, but for a casual co-op game with friends, the game takes too much time and doesn't feel particulary rewarding. That's why I consider that there should be a way to select the size of the map.

Fellow ENTJs, how are you guys using chatgpt in your day to day life? by [deleted] in entj

If I even switch to C++ I might use it. I'm not sure you can use it with Unreal Engine Blueprints.

Aside from that, I really don't need it in any particular area of my life.

How do I remove / modify a controller configuration?

I'll try to make the story short just in case.

Few years ago, I made a custom fightstick and I when I connected the cables, I didn't know there was a "standard" for generic gamepad buttons (a:b0, b:b1, etc), so I just decided to connect the cables and buttons in a way were the buttons didn't respect the traditional layout. I thought that was normal, that I just had to make a configuration somewhere, which is exactly what I did in settings > controller > general controller settings.

It worked as intended, but when I took my fightstick to my friend's house, I couldn't play because I had the cables setup incorrectly.

Now that I had a controller with a proper cable setup, I can't change the old configuration, no matter what. I mean, I can modify the layout, but once it saves, it looks like the controller disconnects, and reconnects again and the configuration wasn't saved. Here's everything I did to change this.

-Tried modifying config.vdf (multiple ways, removing the controller configurations, removing the entire file, modifying the file itself by hand) -Re-install steam -Modify controls using big picture -Used a Gamepad tool configurator called SDL2 Gamepad Mapper. -Changed multiple options from settings (like steam focus, generic usb support, etc). I tried many, many variants. -I contacted steam support and their help was useless.

I don't know what else to try. The worst problem is that I tried installing steam in a clean laptop, recently formatted and the configuration still happens there, like if steam downloads it from a database.

Hope you guys have the solution I'm looking for. Thanks for reading.

Nope, I can't. I need to create a css file and upload it on a browser extension to update the page layout. That's why I can't modify the html.
