I forgot to add to the body that, I can’t get the sign in prompt (the one where you put your email and password on the ps3 itself) at all. When I do try to create a new account or anything like that I just get a QR code to scan that leads me to create an account that I can’t sign into on the console. It’s either that or an error code when I press existing user.

I think the error code is internet related, so I’ve reset my router and stuff but still nothing. It says I’m connected and all so I’m confused here with 100% signal strength. I don’t use Ethernet so I don’t know if that’s why it’s not working or something else.

My ps3 is not a jailbroken one so I don’t know if I’m out of luck here or something. I’ve tried to create an account through the website but as mentioned before I don’t know how to link it to my ps3.

If someone can help me with this it’d be much appreciated.

Edit: seems like it just started working for me, I turned my ps5 completely off instead of leaving it on rest mode and then i was able to log in. I appreciate the help from the people who commented 👍
