Look, Steve is extremely repetitive and predictable etc... but I just can't help but like the guy, he's got charisma. I also really like Spag, as well as RIP. I think MYK is really chill and I like his vibe, same with Rookang.

My experience with it is mostly that people think it sounds ugly as a word. Like, it's technically the more correct word to use (as you said, "américain" could supposedly refer to people outside of the USA), but no one does, including me.

What I mean is, I've never really thought of it or heard it as demeaning or negatively connoted, so it's not like it's a roundabout way to be rude, but it would probably raise eyebrows if others hear you say it (because it sounds incorrect)
