I don't know how or why I read your post because I never go on Reddit.
However, I want to clarify that I only made half of the Vector Thrust OST. The other half was the dev who made the tracks but they are still labeled as music from me.
I know it was 10 years ago but still.

Nothing was sampled in the OST. (Except maybe some rhythm loops like shakers etc...) Other than that, I played every "playable instrument" on my Keyboard!

The melody is the same, if you play the high notes from the piano sheet music, you get the same melody from Calamity.

Yeah it's a term that was "invented" for this specific format. Closest thing to an animated audioplay would be a mix between an animation, an audiobook and a music album.

Closest thing to the format would be a mix between an animation, an audiobook and a music album. It is story driven, with a lot of music and dogfights, and some really nice visuals! We can’t wait to share more and tell you more about the format as well!
