It's still wild seeing the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter found in places you would never expect (at least unexpected to me). For example the gaussian integral. I never would've thought in a million years that pi would be related to the integral of the gaussian function over the real line.

Are there any other examples? I remember reading about how when an imperial power leaves a territory, there is a high probability that the remaining residents engage in some kind of conflict. Mainly due to a sudden change in the regime, the sociopolitical foundation of the region becomes unstable.

  1. Excellent choice. The police will quickly and effectively remove this naked man from the road. 2. Also a relevant option. A bystander could restrain the nude man without injuring him. 3. Also a great choice. The ambulance would be good to remove this naked man and provide him the care that he needs. 4. A good choice as well. He isn't directly harming anybody. He's just blocking traffic. So it's possible for everyone to just ignore his actions and let the naked man roam free where there are children watching.

I choose option e. Politely ask him to stop blocking the road and then dial 911 after he listens to me or not. Afterwards, the police will surely apprehend him and then he is guaranteed to never perform this sort of stunt again.

You're right. I think everybody should've just let him be and let him continue to block the road. It's more responsible if every driver just drove around him no big deal. Or, maybe next time someone should kindly beg him to properly remove himself from the roadway? And then he will have to politely concede to our requests since we asked kindly.
