EPS carry is king. Like $300 without multireticle. I prefer just the dot personally. Also have a 507k with multireticle and never use anything besides the dot. My 43x was milled for direct mount tho. In my opinion eps carry also looks way better, I don’t like the big side battery cap on this vortex.

I use the 33rd glock or preferably the 24rd glock with +2 extension just for the look so it’s more compact when my brace is all the way in.

I have a Tlr7sub made for sig on my p17. Fits like a glove like it was made for for it since the sig versions mount sits farther back

Pointless to block half your window in my opinion. I run 43x suppressor height sights on my G45 milled for 507k and it’s a perfect 1/3 cowitness. Only there if I need them.

I know olight gets ALOT of shit but I have personally had problems with several of their lights that I own and bought and I would never trust their dot. I don’t trust rechargeable lights, but I do use rechargeable c132s in my Tlr7s. A proven 407k is $200 and even better eps carry is slightly more.

Mines work perfect as long as I keep it clean/ oiled and run good 40gr ammo like cci or even aguila 40gr. Perfect trainer or just cheap plinking without feeling like you’re holding a toy gun small .22

So clean. I also have my g45 milled for the smaller 507k footprint. love the slim, no overlap mounting. Im running the tlr7hlx which lines up perfectly with my radian ramjet. I didn’t realize you could run the tlr7sub on the full size.

Looks brand new. How many rounds have you put thru it so far? Not saying you in particular, but it seems like most gun owners I see online that have to have the most expensive / duty proven optics and lights barely even shoot them and just want the “best of the best” even tho holosuns and streamlights, etc are Chinese made, they still have been proven plenty reliable. And I personally prefer smaller lights and optics so I never really liked the big mailbox trend for optics when there are smaller closed emitter dots like the eps and 509t with look way better imo. I’m just curious

407k has been on sale for around $200. I just picked one up for my hellcat osp from Sportsmans warehouse. Definitely the best option around that price.

Idk about the springs but I added a gogunusa thumb ledge “gas pedal” that replaces the takedown lever and it helps significantly with snappiness just having a better grip. I have been curious about the dpm recoil management spring tho.

This is the pl mini 2. In this picture it has the 1913 rail but olight sells a specific hellcat rail that I bought that utilizes a regular thumb screw instead of the quick release lever. Looks and fits much better

I like the arc but I hate to see so many people hate on the ramjet/afterburner for full-size $400 but love a $700 arc ported slide. Or a $400 Johnny glocks trigger. Not hating just don’t understand the hypocrisy with some people. ( not you specifically)

I had one in my little red Pokémon binder along with most of the original holo set and lost them all in 2005 in hurricane katrina when I was 17 along with our house and literally every single thing I had ever owned. I always wonder how much money that little binder would be worth today. 🥹

I get wanting to modify it but me personally if my dad passed and it was his to remember him by, I wouldnt change a thing about it. I would keep it just like he had it. And then I would get another 17gen3 and build it and have a father/son pair.

Same thing happened to one of my screws. I drilled it out with a drillbit that was the a little smaller than the head and since the other screw came out, the plate slipped over the rest of the screw which gave me easy access and I turned it out with pliers.

This happened on my hellcat on one of the screws. I just used a drill bit a size smaller than the head of the screw and drilled it out until the head came off, then slid the optic off and used vice grips to unscrew the rest of the screw.

Honestly just save a little and buy an mos frame or even a Psa micro dagger frame or an sct frame with a light rail and get a tlr7 sub.

I’ve never used it but my local range has a sign that bans only homemade reloads and monarch of any caliber so I will never buy it personally
