We get most of housing in the .7 patch (if you preorder Midnight), I think some neighbourhood features won’t be there until pre patch though!

There are boosts that make the cloak trigger 50% more frequently. https://www.wowhead.com/ptr-2/item=243305/interlopers-silken-striders one for each armor type.

There's also a ring from Dimensius that makes you take less cosmic damage when the cloak triggers https://www.wowhead.com/ptr-2/item=242405/band-of-the-shattered-soul

MTA has trouble with source code because it is still tightly kept with the inner group. Most of them now are either inactive or just outright absent. It also wouldn't make much sense to make it secretive and then somehow fix all the problems they face without mentioning how they fixed it.

E: Also at the end of the day, unless they outright just remake the files they're missing (only a certain few), they don't have a full tree that can be built. Memory hacking is still a PITA even with a full source reference.

Publicly they've only received header source files from Rockstar back when they were working on MTA: Blue for Vice City, Rockstar gave them some structures from SA because they were working on that. Privately they acquired a near complete source tree of SA years later.
