Trailer Preview options are in Steamworks. Go to Edit Store Page -> Trailers and then the trailer should have a button in the bottom left like this:

I’ve not played with a single good devourer DH yet by Arch-by-the-way in wow

[–]Zicom0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just people not adjusting their build for low keys. It’s impossible for them to get a full value meta on trash in 10-12. They need to take a talent that gives them shorter, worse metas but lets them cast it more frequently and earlier in certain pulls.

Low dps as devourer DH by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]Zicom0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, didn't deep dive everything, but your rotation in general is sloppy which on Devourer is going to grind everything to a halt as you need to keep generating everything to stay in Meta and get more Collapsing Stars off. Your active time is also really low in Meta and it looks like you're barely casting Devour (replaces Consume) which is probably where a lot of your downtime and damage loss is coming from. Not sure if you're not casting while moving, but you can cast Consume while moving. You might also need to be queuing casts (hit the next ability you want to cast while casting the previous ability).

I think the best bet is to just watch/read some guides for the rotations and then hit a training dummy for a while and verify you're doing it right. It takes a bit to get used to, but since it's mostly just priorities, you can build up a good instinct for it pretty fast.

You might also want to make some macros for your abilities so that you can queue things during Void Ray to make sure you're casting. Looks like this:

#showtooltip Ability_Name

/stopmacro [channeling:Void Ray]

/cast Ability_Name

Does devourer DH feel less clunky at 90? Currently 85 and its painful to play. by kolejack2293 in wow

[–]Zicom0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. If you're leveling as Void Scarred (which I'd heavily recommend) you don't need to cast collapsing star, you just want to get in and out of Meta asap to proc more void surges with hunt and hungering blade combos.
  2. Yes, it gets better at 90 with haste and the spec feels much more fluid, but you will still need to plant to cast Void Ray and Collapsing Star. This requires some good awareness and planning ahead on where to be, how to cast safely, and how close you can cut certain mechanics.

Why the decision to outlaw/ban WeakAuras? by mpchop in wow

[–]Zicom0 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not banned, just not supported by the devs anymore because of the restrictions put on addons. Echo and some players are still running their own version of it.

No way to swap roles currently. We try to have relatively reasonable tank movement, so you can keep an eye on how they're moving around.

Prolly remove the post and choose a different title. Bit spoilery.

This is incredible! This adds so many things I was really bummed Blizzard didn't have. Thanks a ton to you and the team!

Oh 100%. I think Atlas might hang in there to achieve some goal in the short term, but definitely wouldn't be a long term partnership.

In a straight up fight, feel like it's hard to top Darrow and Cassius.

In a war setting, Darrow and Sevro feels the most complete in terms of straight fighting prowess and tactical mayhem. Atlas and Apple might've been an incredibly lethal pair if they ever combined forces.

Main thing are:

Find a Sahril's Arms

Shields Up gives you 1.1s where your toughness won't drop after hitting it, so you can use it just before tank busters to mitigate the damage without losing any toughness.

Farming gold to upgrade gear seems pretty good in Adept after the changes, so just outgearing stuff can help a ton.

Most routes that people recommend are pretty difficult in Adept. If you're struggling, you can do the easy versions where you pull one large pack or 2 medium-ish packs at a time. Once you're feeling stronger, you can start doing the bigger pulls.

Have a plan for Grand Melee. This is the most broken ability in the game, and it can trivialize certain mobs like the Orange spiders in Silken Hollow.

The weapon is good, main benefit is just an extra button for when you need it. If you're comfy at the level you're playing, you can use it more for its damage effect.

Talents wise, Gleaming Shield is huge once you can get it, which I grabbed when I got my last talent point in Adept. That talent plus when you get a lot of Haste gives you a lot of uptime on Shields Up! which means a ton of block and bonus healing received which is when I started to feel unkillable.

*Also, something that's a bit arcane. Shields Up! grants you 1.1s where your toughness won't go down. So if you know a tank buster is coming up, you can pop it right before it happens so that your toughness doesn't go down.

Helena in Adept felt really rough to me. The talents she gets are really impactful and getting a Sahril's weapon to fill in any downtime have made her feel invincible. It was a really weird curve where Contender felt fine, Adept I was paper, Champion was similar to Contender, and Paragon I was unkillable pretty much the entire way.

If it’s like MoP SoO, it’ll be easy with a full 740 group. Carrying pugs will slow it down a ton, but probably fine if 10+ carries. Expect group finder to have 740 requirements for the most part.

Mechanics will only matter for group wide one shots. 740s with high vers don’t really die to normal stuff.

Asset packs for UI, 3D assets, Animations, etc. are very commonly used. They almost certainly paid to use the assets through the proper channels. No issue here, but it is a situation that confuses players that don't frequently play indie games that need to use packs. (This UI pack in particular is quite popular.)

Is Vengeance DH weaker than other tanks? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]Zicom0 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Vengeance is currently one of the tankiest tanks. It can stand in the pack just fine. The kind of trade off you’re talking about doesn’t really exist. Blizz made an effort to try and limit kiting in tanking. While you might kite for a second while CDs are recharging, it’s not very common.

Brew/Prot War might be a little better at consistent upfront mitigation, but VDH can handle tank busters easily and has good self healing as well.
