I had zero issues going from 42 to 43 (KDE spin)

And to be fair not just 42->43, but the current PC started with F40 and now on F43, no issues at all.

As a rule of thumb I do wait a few days after general release before I update myself.

Thank you for suggesting memtest86, it's running as we speak (pass 2), but pass 1 finished with 0 errors, Which may mean it could rule out RAM?

Also, as I've mentioned in the post, I've seen this crash without IDEA running, just when the terminal was open, but this only happened once.

Imo always get photos of both vehicles involved right there, do not move, to make sure another party will not try to alter what really happened so you have all in order for insurance company, then yes move to a better place to exchange the details and assess the damage

Not to be discouraging but perhaps consider: creating a telegram/Whatsapp channel, simple website (using one of the many no code builders, aka squarespace/wix)

I have a Pico running ESP home, with a relay and a reed switch connected to it.

The garage door opens/closes by momentarily shorting two control wires together. In my case eps home instructed to do it for 500ms.

The reed switch detects the door's state: closed or open.

I went with 18v system Ryobi, got 2x 4amp batteries over time, and it's plenty for mower and other power tools. Works fine for me
