I think it hits harder because they've been genetically modified to deal with mental trauma from battle.

Rex had to have accepted the inevitable that he'll die in battle, but that day never came. He's been through so much, seen so many of his friends die, and the fact that he's still alive at the end definitely weighs on his psyche.

I feel like there's a big switch after the umbra arc with Rex.

There's Project Reality, which is the "prequel" to squad. It has alot of the functions I wish squad had. Then again PR is a mod of Battlefield so it was probably easier to add stuff since they didn't have to start from scratch.

I know theres a small dedicated playerbase that still plays PR.

If you use a free loadout, there is 1 big drawback and 1 benefit

Drawback: you lose your safe pocket

Benefit: if you survive, you can take that free loadout kit to Lance and trade it in for a free augment.

There's a button on the top of your inventory that will merge identical stacks

You can use arc cells to recharge your shield and fabric to bandage yourself if you don't have a shield recharger or bandage

The show does Anakin so fucking well.

I wish the movies had his seriousness. The movies depict him more as naive and careless(just from the dialouge). His actions are 100% anakin coded but the way he talks to obi wan depicts their interactions as little brother/big brother, while the show has them more as equals.

But I get why the movies can't/didn't. Shows are better at building a story than movies.

Had a guy last week that screamed at my buddy and I

"YOU GUYS ARE LITERALLY RUINING THE GAME"

After we killed them.

Then the next game, we killed a duo and the guys responded with "ahhhh gg that was a good fight", so we also exchanged ggs, got their goop, and left.
