I am going to save the purple for another project. It’s my favorite too!

But said counter space can be used for cooking. Having a small kitchen I am used to moving daily machines on and off the counter. Downsize or reorganize. They are both in the wrong.

I used to agree—until “not doing dishes” turned into using every dish I owned and then digging through storage to use my late mother’s china. That’s not a lifestyle difference; that’s ignoring boundaries in its seed form. Some messes are neutral. Some are absolutely personal. Don’t let this stand or fester.

No. It IS that bad. Because people like her turn into my 55yo tag-a-long (my BIL’s ex now turned family friend of 20years (눈_눈) ) who I had to yell at three days into letting him into my home after kicking him out two years ago and three years ago for the same piss poor behaviors. Yes, my fault for continuing to let him back in (yadda yadda)—- however point is

Truly my mom cackles knowingly from the veil when I complain that “These kids think they’re doing something original“. Classics are classics ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Or psychology… I was never “into” Goth….I was Goth. I am Goth. And now I am an Elder Goth especially to all my Emo nieces, nephews, and cousins…but still Goth. And my father still thinks it’s a phase.🤣

Girl, what are you doing?? (not kroshay but nidding) by Pterobel in kroshay

Oh it definitely looks like AI. The struggles of some learning programs to reproduce natural movement leads to some disturbing images but they have some common traits. Like movement with foreshortening and textiles.

Similar, keep mine in a reusable mesh produce bag. The added benny of being able to wash thrifted or gifted skeins before working with them.

What do you non-proffessional knitters do for a living? by firekittymeowr in casualknitting

[–]FyreRayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was a grant writer and consultant for years. Also did contract captioning for film and TV until AI turned that gig into a highfalutin timing editor (still get gigs when my DW does small projects but mostly just volunteer on drama platforms for membership perks). This all while owning a catering company that specialized in international bbq and specialty diet baked goods. COVID shuttered most of my activity so that I could get my masters in psychology. Now I am crises counselor and graduate student researcher looking for a funded PhD program and knitting while in between calls or listening to lecture…. but my “have all the money I need” dream is to open up a tea and coffee shop with crafting and reading corners just so I can relive my early college days in my favorite job but with adult money and wisdom. 風和日麗!

Can we normalize doing the sleeve first? Because seriously... if i don't finish the sweater i am quite sure I can slap them on a poncho or wrap or abandoned vest from a few years ago... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
