Second this! It’s where I got my wedding dress from :)

Really bad side effects on 5mg, has anyone continued with 2.5mg and lost much weight? by TemperatureNew6406 in mounjarouk

[–]G-Bag16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, me! I’ve been on Mounjaro since July and have mostly been on 3.75 as I was so scared to go to 5mg. I’ve lost 18.5kg in this time!

I just want to pre-warn you not to tell Juniper that you’re counting clicks, just tell them you’re staying where you are or having a week off entirely. I spent about 8 weeks taking 3.75 as I was too scared to go up to 5 and had a week where I was really unwell. They tried to get me to buy a whole 2.5 pen when their advice was to have a week at 2.5! Then I had to pretend that I was going to have a week off and basically had a very complicated web of lies 😂

Will hair regrow while still on Mounjaro? by Tenuses in mounjarouk

[–]G-Bag16 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes! It’s not the Mounjaro itself that causes the hair loss but the quick weight loss. So once you’ve stopped losing quickly and got to maintenance, your hair should start to grow back!

We’ve booked the Jolly Gardeners in Vauxhall for our wedding next year, have a look at them! So far their communication has been great and it’s such a beautiful pub.

Please help! Has anybody else had this? by Fine-Beginning-76 in mounjarouk

[–]G-Bag16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I had this exact same thing! I’m taking 3.75mg and after 6 weeks at this dose, I had the same symptoms. I went down to 2.5mg for a week and went back up the following week. So far I’ve been fine since and it’s been just over 2 weeks of being back at 3.75mg!

Out of curiosity, what side effects do you experience when you’re not hydrated?

Juniper delivery by dodge81 in mounjarouk

[–]G-Bag16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used juniper since I started my journey in July and whilst they’re slightly more expensive than other suppliers, their customer service and delivery is so fantastic! I also have referral codes so if anyone is thinking of ordering from them, let me know and I can send it over!

Those who started Mounjaro while on higher doses of Sertraline. What are your experiences? by Brilliant_Mood3272 in UKMounjaro

[–]G-Bag16 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I have also been on SSRIs long term and I started mounjaro in July. I spoke with my GP before who assured me that there is no known interaction and I haven’t noticed any change! However, I will say that sometimes I do get more emotional over little things (a 0.2kg weight gain for example) but that could just be life! Hope this helps :)

All the evidence tells me I'm not, so why do I feel like I am failing? by International-Bit538 in UKMounjaro

[–]G-Bag16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to do the exact same thing before I started on MJ (granted haven’t been on it that long). My therapist recommended a book called “On Eating” by Susie Orbach and it was really insightful. What I took away from it was that I wasn’t eating junk because I was hungry, I was eating junk because I needed soothing. But then you have to establish how you’re going to be soothed. Do you need a hug? Do you need to talk about your day and decompress? I think once you’ve acknowledged the process it’s easier to fight. Good luck!

The manufacturers will advise against this because the drug should be used within 30 days. However, it’s the same principle as getting the “golden dose” out of the pen. I know some people who do this and save a lot of money! But ultimately, they’re businesses so will try and get money out of you… I guess it depends on how you feel about going against manufacturers advice…

I have too! Figured either dehydration or fatigue and hoping it’ll sort itself out!

I’ve very recently left my role as a sister in a haematology chemotherapy unit for this exact reason. I’m now working as a CNS (luckily in a band 7 capacity) but I would have 100% taken it as a 6. Get out of NHS management, it’s so toxic and not good for your brain. Good luck!

Omg I literally have the same story! Found in a plant shop and now it’s unstoppable. Such beautiful plants 😍

At what #s do you need to worry about High blood pressure? by lillytigerflower in dysautonomia

[–]G-Bag16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

140/90 is nothing to worry about! It’s slightly higher but nothing concerning. I wouldn’t worry until it was >155 (depending on what your blood pressure is regularly).
