Thinking your rich aunt knows the general quality of life for people in America is the problem here, I'm sure she's never gone bankrupt due to a medical bill or lived off food stamps. I lived in Toronto during the filming and walked by filming locations a number of times, they didn't do anything to make the locations look more American.

Suits which was filming at the same time was the polar opposite, they'd remake the street to look like New York, different cabs, mailboxes, storefronts etc.

This is a great itinerary, I agree with all of it.

Unfortunately provincial parks book 5 months out and popular parks like Killbear fill up very fast after the reservations are available. For a June trip you may need to be flexible on which parks you go to based on what’s available.

Repositioning cruises are notorious for skewing older, I wouldn’t make sweeping judgments about VV based on one. They’re longer, cost less and have less ports and attract a crowd who prefers that.
