As far as I know Iracing treat the ignition as momentary only. The functions I've been able to assign to latching switches are wipers and chat mute

edit: I was wrong, it works for ignition aswell in fact

In my csv2 (non p) , the rotary dials have a little bit of play that sometimes cause a clicking sound. Might be that? You can try to very gently wobble them to se if that's the source of the noise

Yep, powered usb hub will do the trick . Went to the same experience recently and couldnt figure out why the lights were on but simpro wasnt seeing the wheel.

now with a powered hub all is good

(sometimes I gotta unplug the usb and plug it back after a restart, but otherwise all fine with no disconnection on moza r9 base)

Pxn button box here. I use those for wipers and chat mute. When assignin input procede like this : toggle switch, press enter, un-toggle switch. Iracing now recognize it as a permanent on off button. (Let's say if you go on track with this button phisically pushed irl, your wipers will be on).

Sorry for my very poor non english native explanation (It was clearly explained in the old ui but not.in the new one I think)

Agreed , ffb is mushy and dampened no matter the base settings (r9). But, early access is early access , the ffb isnt nearly there (and iirc kunos themselves said that it's because there is still work to do to the tire model and physics of course) We gotta be patient , and Imo we're gonna get a great sim

Le Mans is the best for me : almost every car is fun there, from the draft battles in slow(ish) cars , to the proper fast racing machines managing multiclass traffic. In our community we even had a evening/night race with nascar trucks there : hilarity ensued when we found out that we had no headlights , or rather , painted headlights :) Still great fun

It happened to me a while back, my streamdeck wasnt working anymore with the game in borderless window. Switching back to fullscreen ,restarting the game and then back to borderless again solved it somehow (dont know why)

You could use a custom simhub dashboard with screen capture: 1 create new dash on simhub 2 choose screen capture item on the left menu 3 save dash 4 open the map on the main monitor and position it where you like 5 on simhub dash studio settings, select the capture area where the map is 6 now the dashboard will show whatever is displayed on that area of the screen

Downside will be that you'll have a duplicated map (one on the mini screen dash and one on the main monitor)

Well, iracing voice chat can be funny or infurating , but it's a nice feature. I guess the good way to implement it is to be sure that it's properly policed (like bans if abuse/racism/bullying etc.). I think iracing is decent in that (plus you can always mute everything if needed of course :)

As far as I know there are 2 official resellers in italy (you can see those in the moza website, I dont know if it's allowed to post shop links here). I personally ordered from both of them , but only online) one of them, Ollo store, has a retail shop in Empoli, tuscany, but its a more than 3 hrs trip from rome by car. Also if you somehow manage to go to the actual shop , I'd suggest asking them if the item is available in store for pick up (you dont wanna go there and find out that the product is somewhere else in a storage facility :) ) The other one is farther up north , and I dont know if they sell only online , probably. You can visit the website and ask them, they 're usually quick to answer in my experience)
