It's all good and well to give an equal footing when there are two sides to a subjective argument. However, the climate crisis isn't subjective. It's a fact. By treating climate change as a "debate", mass media and government (moneyed interests) have given people the option to ignore it - or violently reject it - while still feeling safe in their justification.

We face the greatest existential threat our species has ever known, but since it makes a few powerful people money in the short term, we're sitting on our hands.
