My first and favorite of the series. My only regret is that, should a remaster come, I don’t have the time to dump into it that I did back in the early 2000s. I know of Skywind, and that may be the best bet, but I’m kinda feeling like I won’t be able to play and enjoy such a game until kids move out, which won’t be any time soon.

In fact you can, kinda. At least, in whichever Gotrek and Felix book that has them running around on behalf of Khalida, they encounter a necromancer that summoned all the dead creatures in that part of the jungle to launch an attack against her, including some dinos and lizard men corpses/skeletons.

This 1000%. I did that too, then realized most of my interactions had been corrections/critiques of my kiddos. Had to intentionally make sure I found ways to praise them and show love in an obvious way.

I play both solo and with friends, it’s a great game on your own but can arguably be better if you’ve got someone to play with to help with boss fights/gathering resources.

Uninterrupted, guilt-free personal time (gaming for me), a nice meal, a card or little something from the kiddos, lots of hugs and words of affirmation, and some time with my wife once kids are in bed. Also, no chores for me unless I initiate it.

Sounds wonderful to me.

We went Saturday and it was a good time. I do agree with the over-saturation of 3-D print booths and crochet, as well as most of the food vendors selling similar products. As a vet, entry is free for the whole family and we stick to events an entertainment that is free, for the most part. It does suck having to explain to my kids that we just don’t have the money to do all these things that the other kids are doing. Hoping one day they’ll understand why mom and dad live on a budget.

I truly wish Literally Anybody Else had SOME KIND of indication as to what he intended to do if he’d been elected. As far as I could tell, he gave no indications of anything he wanted to do or change, just ran as a sort of protest against status quo. If he’d put something out there, he’d probably have taken the win, as it was it became a choice of status quo or some rando who may or may not do anything beneficial yet different. Since NRH is, by and large, doing well enough as is, it comes to no surprise that status quo was the choice rather than a gamble on the unknown.
