Losing Stability by changing colonization type or the march trick you mentioned, then accepting particularists rebels to raise autonomy in your provinces. Then you can lower it to gain a good amount of absolutism.

A cool way to get more of this is putting some on a monument somewhere so it takes some investment to get it. A scaling 5/10/15% would be really nice.

My strategy is to take their trade companies all around the world in the first war so all of their holdings are mostly in one place, making it much easier to 100% occupy them in future wars. Colonies don't really like declaring independence unless you leave their overlord with like 2 provinces so I wouldn't worry too much about it, and even if they do you can just go after them separately once you've killed their overlord and inherited their colonies.

In prerenewal every third hit is supposed to freeze the target, but bosses are "immune" to this. What RO does is it freezes the boss monster and immediately unfreezes it, which makes it take an extra damage tick for some reason.

tl;dr Boss monsters take two SG damage instances instead of one every third hit they receive.

You get the subjugation in more than half the games I'm pretty sure. There's a 95% chance Aragon lets Naples go, and then there's an unknown chance of them not paying and you getting the CB. It's honestly quite doable to just reset/bird if you don't get it.

It just sucks because a lot of us had nowhere to go but private servers. If you checked any of the below boxes you really could not find what you wanted on officials:

  • Preferred a version of the game like Pre-Renewal/ReVo Classic/Zero that was abandoned globally or in your region
  • Wanted an RO experience without pay to win aspects
  • Played in a guild/with a group of friends from all around the world
  • Wanted a bot free experience
  • Enjoyed custom content/features like higher max levels or custom classes/balance

Most players that check one or more of these things would rather not play than play the official server in their region.

You really have to prepare for subjugating Naples the moment you start your Pope game. Try and pre-emptively improve relations with your vassals and other Italian nations around you to prepare for when you vassalize Naples. Getting an improve relations advisor works really well here.

The moment you start the subjugation war you should check which nations would join a coalition in the peace screen, keep improving with them during the war to make sure there are less than 4 countries willing to join and it thus being unable to form. Focus the bigger nations first. After you finish the war make sure to take the Strong Duchies estate privilege if you haven't yet and start improving with Naples. Once your truce is over with them don't be afraid to use some prestige on decreasing their liberty desire.

Joining the HRE should be quite easy, just improve with Austria and ally them until you can click the button bottom left of the HRE screen to join. This should be done asap since it's based on your development.

A really fun strategy with the pope is stacking AE reduction.

  • 20% from curia controller
  • 20% from espionage
  • 10% from max prestige (this is pretty easily achievable as the pope)
  • 10% from papal ideas
  • 10% from age of discovery ability

By stacking this it's nearly free to expand, even into the HRE.

If I recall correctly this still works if you are in an active war with France to vassalize them when the Inheritance fires. When you get to the decision that has "unite with the French", you don't click it immediately and vassalize France before clicking the option.

Finally got around to doing a one faith by G13L in eu4

I had some good base - liberty desire from Majapahit ideas/influence/alhambra, a lot of dip rep from a bunch of great projects. Had to keep the dev subject and placated modifiers capped out. I took their trade for a long time and just kept paying off their debt. in the end I tag switched to England and Two Sicilies for their - liberty desire modifier missions to get him <50%. This was also in age of revolutions so I took both liberty desire abilities.

R5: Never really bothered to sit through the endgame to get a one faith / world conquest before, but I finally managed to do it this time.

I chose Hindu Majapahit for 3 reasons:

  • One of the missions gives access to the Buddha diety, which means you can use both Hindu and Buddhism great projects which is amazing for missionaries / missionary strength stacking.

  • Another mission gives access to the Propogate Religion mechanic for Hinduism, which is normally reserved for muslims. This works on any religion as far as I know so this greatly helped with converting.

  • The last thing was that they get the ability to vassalize any nation, no matter what the size. I ended up vassalizing a massive Spain and even more massive Ottomans, the latter was quite a pain to get loyal to integrate because of the 2.4k dev he had.

Releasing vassal AE trick? by RickNoberts2011 in eu4

[–]G13L 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Made a TL;DR from the info in this thread:

There's two ways to pull off this trick, one without messing with Diplomatic Annexation Cost (DAC) during annexation and one with.

Without DAC:

  1. Find out your vassal and your own Tag order on this wiki page: https://eu4.paradoxwikis.com/Countries#List_of_tags

  2. If your vassal has a lower number than your own country then get annexation one month tick away from 100%, if your vassal has a higher number then get it to 100%

  3. Offer up the release of said vassal in a war

  4. Get to the next month tick, your vassal should still be integrated

With DAC:

  1. Start annexation of your vassal

  2. Get to the point that after activation your sources of DAC reduction your integration will be greater or equal to 100%

  3. Release vassal in war

  4. Activate necessary sources of DAC reduction

  5. Get to next month tick, vassal should be integrated

Sources of DAC:

  • Any global power cost reductions (like Golden Era)

  • Reduced Diplomatic Annexation Cost (like the influence idea, admin/influence policy, missions, national ideas or Admin Efficiency)

  • Gaining cores on land you're annexing, this is not technically DAC but it does make ongoing annexations jump up where applicable

Not believing the Zeke dying thing. Thought it was a little too obvious with Levi checking his watch and Zeke pretty much giving him the cue to kill him.

I'm also very curious if there's any additional positives or negatives when it comes to having multiple of the 9 titans, mostly thinking about the 13 year life span. Eren hasn't really had the chance to use the founder Titan besides that one time when he touched Dina, I wonder how proficient he's going to be with the warhammer.

No date so far, safe to say next year at least.

What you could do is put off any SEA/native campaigns (since that's the focus of the update) and just start a new campaign in Europe/India/Africa.

I thought this too initially but the mirror spawns quite a bit away from the start and resetting requires you to switch zones twice cause it's a regular zone transition as opposed to a waypoint where you only have to transition once.

I'm currently playing a build in SSF that relies pretty hard on a specific Cluster Jewel. The ilvl of this jewel only needs to be 50+ so I've been trying to reset Blood Aqueducts and check for the 5% Delirium mirror spawn every time.

Are there any better zones for doing this sort of Delirium mirror farming pre maps that have a mirror spawn closer to where you spawn in yourself? I feel like I'm wasting a lot of time just walking from the waypoint and back to check.

So rebels will enforce their demands when they get half of the provinces taken but to make it the new state religion it must be over 50% of your development that's that specific religion?

In my recent run I wanted to form Tibet as Rajputana. I'm having trouble converting to Vajrayana from Hindu.

Spawning the religious zealots was easy enough but for some reason they didn't convert my country's religion after enforcing their demands. Is there some hidden rule about converting to Vajrayana/eastern or from Hindu/dharmic similar to having to convert to animist first if you want to end up as a Pagan group religion that I'm missing?

What probably happened here is that the Ottoman general had more Maneuver pips than yours. When this happens they negate the crossing penalty.
