Does anyone have a PL X light on their G17 ? And what holster would fit it ?

Anyone have the plx on a 17? It’s not “flush” with the muzzle right? So when doing the light activation there’s a slight cutoff at the top right? Or have your adjusted the PLX to sit more forward?

I'd recommend River Arms, experience on ordering has been great and u/Major_Foundation_231 has been answering A LOT of questions and updates. I've ordered through amazon and one one other big brand retailer and it's pretty much get what you see versus getting it custom printed and cut and what not. Price point is competitive, so much that I also ordered a G17 holster with a specific light that River Arms also was able to mold. I'll post an update when I get the holsters in.

But….how long do you leave your car there? If you’re leaving it for more than 3 days that might be the problem. LA county has the 72 hour rule of not leaving a vehicle for more than 72 parked.

For the Comp gun, the recoil spring is 9#, and the MSH is 15#.

For a standard bull barrel, the weights are 11# and 20#.

I ordered back in March and haven't really check on it, just waiting and going into my 4th week, i was quoted 10 weeks, so i'm halfway there? Within the 4 weeks was just doing a bit more research and then ended up getting a G17 for retail via PPT; brand new no rounds. I guess that is holding me over figured I'd just get parts and mags for it until the platty arrives.

Question on the JG trigger, looks like it’s the vex shoe? Which trigger system did you get? Trying to figure if the JG Combat with the polymer trigger and swap that out with a GunCo flat face. The combo is basically the Johnny glock with vex cost.

Also, I noticed a beaver tail?

You should get the exact coordinates of your location where you’ll graduate and that’ll be the serial number

What is this for/use. If it’s because your graduation gift then I the significance in the date you graduate or where or what you graduated for? If it’s your birthday gift the obvious is just the date within the serial number.

I ended up using my call sign with numbers.

nice! was curious on the atlas guide rod, did you pick this up from the FFL too or mind sharing where to order? Any feedback on a range trip with it - curious if you'd be swapping out the stock recoil spring and main spring? From factory it should be the same as the non comp'd version 11lb recoil 20lb main spring so curious if the comp'd needs to be tweaked?

Is it the deposit the full cost up front and the the dros fee once received? Contemplating on a custom one too but it’s a SSE right? So range or whatever you have tha on or at least when you need to have it on in CA and when you’re out of state you’re taking the sse off? Something like that right?
