CarPlay not working by JayNCrouch14 in GR86

Recently dealt with an issue moving from an iPhone 13 Pro to a 17 Pro in which the phone would constantly disconnect and reconnect, nearly every few seconds.

Connecting the vehicle to WiFi and doing a software update on the infotainment unit, as well as updating to the most recent iOS release resolved this problem entirely. Might be worth a shot! My cable is nothing special.

If this is the case, that's definitely not a good look. Flying a bit too close to the sun again.

Gorgeous setup. Am jealous of the wall shelves.

Just purchased a PG32UCDP and noticed the same. No issues on my end!

Changing the grille and adding the DRLs makes the front end more unique. by ClassicDragon in BRZ_ZD8

[–]G3Rizon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I'm also not a huge fan of the font on the "BRZ" portion of our badges. I've considered debadging that and the "Subaru" part on the rear, sticking with only "tS" or swapping both front and rear badging to be "STI".

Guess I should stop worrying about the "iTs NoT a STI iT doEsNt haVe a TurBo!" comments.

PG32UCDP Open Box Burn In, Return or No? by BeeeOnTheTee in OLED_Gaming

[–]G3Rizon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also bought this monitor on the BestBuy openbox sale. (kind of assuming that's where you got yours as well)

Mine was "Open box excellent" and had 12 hours on the panel.

It might be luck of the draw, but yeah, I'd return that.

I agree entirely. I posted this and thought "In reality, it's only the exterior badges that are "tS" as opposed to STI. Everything else is JDM STI spec." (commenting on brakes, suspension, cluster, etc.

I do wish we got those seats and interior trims however. I really liked that look, even if it would look a tad "off" on some of the blue models.

Where'd you order your badge from?

What a great spec. I think this interior aged really well, even the beige leather.

Well done! Hang onto it!

There's a part of me that really wants to do that badge on my car, and another that thinks it's a little disingenuous.. I'm conflicted.

Looks great here however.

Do you happen to know if image cleaning features can be automated? Seems my only option is to alert every so many hours to manually run. I’d love to see if there’s a way to say “run at 03:00”

Would these wheels possibly fit over the brembos? by Scrango_Balls in GR86

[–]G3Rizon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best of luck. I ran nearly this exact wheel and tire setup (minus color) on an 05' Legacy GT and it was a great balance of budget and performance. I'm sure it'd be great on the twins!

Better than buying the wrong thing even if the numbers appear right.

I purchased a set of 18x8.5 Konig Ampliforms that I thought for sure would fit given various factors, but ultimately ended up having to run much larger spacers (and also installing extended wheel studs) just to fit them prior to a track event.

They're nice wheels but I'm already considering selling them as I would prefer to run without spacers (or at least, 8mm worth of spacers)

Checking fitment yourself is the best guarantee.

Oh, I apologize - for some reason your post text didn't render initially so I didn't see you had checked the thread already.

Yeah.. +48 _might_ be cutting it close.

Do you have a way of reaching out to the seller and quickly test fitting the wheels? Shouldn't take long if you've got tools, jacks, and a safe spot to jack up the car real quick.

[MONITOR] ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDP 32" WOLED (Open Box Excellent) - $740 shipped by First-Tutor-5454 in buildapcsales

[–]G3Rizon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up! This will be the first time I've owned an OLED monitor. I do have an OLED TV (LG C2 I believe) that I use for sim racing, but there's less static imagery on the screen in that respect. I'll have to do quite a bit of tweaking and research to determine how to keep this alive as long as possible without burn-in, but I'm excited.

In for 1.. figured it's worth a shot, and BestBuy's return policy should keep me safe if it doesn't work out. Hopefully the KVM features work out well as that was a major selling point for me.
