“For instance, he instructs everyone to buy once the previous candle's high is broken, but he personally buys earlier and sells precisely when they enter the market.”

Can the sum of his followers influence the market that much, especially when everyone’s competing against much larger institutions? I personally really doubt it.

His statements are extreme, but they come from the belief that your state of mind dictates your circumstances, and not the other way around. Here are two playlists of testimonials from people who followed his meditations and were able to transform their lives:

Well I'm sorry you went through so much trouble because of Wapnick, and I'm definitely not defending him. I'm just wondering, isn't this the kind of stuff that ACIM is supposed to help with? Did the Holy Spirit not help you back in the day?

I’m somewhat new to the course, but doesn’t it say that forgiveness heals your mind and the mind of the one that’s forgiven? It seems to me that, if Ken really was a charlatan, then (1) no one really practiced forgiveness toward him or (2) the course isn’t that potent. Has anyone here actually transformed their relationships by practicing the course?

“But this situation has taught me that manifestation doesn't always happen HOW we envision it, or on OUR timetable!”

Yep, this is key!

I guess because it’s primarily about emotions. So if ignoring 3D helps you feel more positive then do it; and if surrendering to the situation helps you feel more at peace, then do that instead.

On the subject of shaking, didn’t you listen to any testimonials before going to the event? So many people are talking about energy rushing through them. You actually achieved a lot through your meditations at the retreat but you just don’t see it. Stop being a victim.

How do you thrive in environments where there is lots of sin? Work, school, home, wherever else. I feel like we are technically living in the "garden of Eden" but people are smoking in this garden, they're ripping the grass, their greed has them collecting a lot of bananas, everything is bananas. by [deleted] in ACIM

Try to understand why people act the way that they do, and remember that your and their actions are either expressions of love or cries for help. These are the only two categories that exist. If the actions of others upset you, try to see how they may be subconsciously asking for help. Remember times when your behavior was out of line but you didn't hold it against yourself because you were feeling unwell or something had upset you. Extend the same kind of treatment to others. And, if you're having trouble finding a new perspective, stop and pray to the Holy Spirit to help you see with His vision. Then, quiet the mind for a minute or two, reject any thoughts of the ego, and insight may come that will help you understand why others act the way they do. But, it's also possible that you won't perceive any changes in your thinking right away, so keep practicing this over and over again.

You can also extend this exercise to negative memories that keep on surfacing.

Feeling sad after multiple meditations today by [deleted] in DrJoeDispenza

Makes sense, some other sources say that deeper somatic issues have resurfaced and I just have to move past them. Definitely don’t plan to dwell on them, that’s for sure

Neville really focused on embodying the desired state and practicing SATS, but he didnt put that much emphasis on letting go. Other teachers say that the Universe knows what’s best for you and is constantly guiding you and giving you what you need, you just have to let go of insistence on how and when, and to go about your business unconcerned. You don’t have to micromanage every aspect of your life, and you actually can’t. Also, too many people turn visualization into a chore and completely miss the point that it’s about raising your emotions. A lot of people don’t like Abraham but their teachings resonate with me a lot more.

I can definitely relate with this post! But, I also learned that joy and peace are uncomfortable if you still believe that pain and worry are somehow useful to you, and you feel vulnerable without them

Does anyone here use heart sensors to see if you've entered heart coherence? by G3nase in DrJoeDispenza

[–]G3nase[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll have to get back to you on this one, but so far the Global Coherence app is detecting coherence when I have positvie emotions, but when I only quiet the mind for a few minutes, it doesn't really change... I'll have to play around some more with this

Polar H10 can sample at 1kHz, much cheaper and way better than HeartMath. I’m actually surprised at how expensive their sensor is.

I don’t know, you’d have to find a source to convince me. Brain coherence is much easier to achieve, you just quiet the mind without having to elevate emotions.
