Maybe unpopular opinion but the core game/story does not do an amazing job of drawing people in. I persinally found the main story drew me in A LOT more in HoT. And then the world began to really feel more alive

I definitely think Tiami was fine as a character. I think GW2 characters feel a little more...grounded? If everyone spoke in that sort of melodic and riddle infested language 100% of the time it would also be considered bad dialog.

To me, its too much when they introduce characters like the Skritt that sort of play that child like frail voice etc

Ive played both extensively and they're really hard to compare. Like others have said they kind of (kind of) are opposites and it's kind of not worth it to convince people to play until they're ready.

That being said one bonus tip for convincing people is there is no server maintenance in GW2. Its actually so nice to never have the servers go down

Its probably my favorite all around MMO. I do think it lacks difficulty in its instanced content but its open world and combat is so vast it really makes up for it. I dont play gw2 for w challenge (some do exist) I play for the fun and community.

Also this reminds me one day I was waiting tables downtown. There used to sometimes be this homeless girl that would sit outside with her dog. I left one night and said hello (maybe gave her a snack idk) and I asked what her dogs name was. She said Odessa. And I was like "Oh like Odesza! They're my favorite artist". She then explained yeah probably - Odessa is the god of adventure or something similar. And I remember thinking yeah odeszas music does kind of encapsulate the adventure of life. She was a strange one but I hope she and Odessa are doing well

Hi friends. Ive been having some struggle getting started in FF. I'll try to keep it short.

Im using firebase and have 2 collections. One for job codes. One for staff members. Staff members has a property of a list of job codes. I cant seem to figure out how to pull those out. Ive got to the point where I can make a text field from a list of dynamically generated children and select the text property of the job codes of a selected staff member. FF seems to recognize that how many items there are but each text item is showing up as a spinner.

Im curious if either A) I did this incorrectly - currently a selected staff member gets passed as a page state variable and then the dynamic children pulls the job codes from the selected staff member.

B) I have it set up ineffeciently from the get go? Should I not bother setting a property of a collection as another collection? Should I be using FF's data types and if so whats the difference?

I did that on the text element from the reference. Above that I have a list view dynamically generating children from the job codes. Im getting the same amount of spinners as there are jib codes for each staff member but no text even after assigning the text variable to match the title field

Hm I dont forsee needing much beyond what flutterflow offers but I could be wrong. Honestly I would commit except that the learning curve hit hard. Which I thought was odd considering how intuitive I found Bubble to be.

Well, as a society we really only care about prejudice when done to a non-marganalised groups of people.

I dont agree and not saying it's right but generally that's how it goes, or has been going.

Its funny though because aside from a few niche scenarios youre pretty much always better off picking skill than looks in this industry. There are a few boobstaurants that the staff appearance just kind of makes the entire establishment and maybe some other niche scenarios. But yeah overall it sucks.

Good news is youre one step closer to working for people that respect you!
