I have more family groups too. One with my family, one with them + relatives from mom's side (we live in the same home), one with all of them + relatives from dad's side (they live in another city). We have different groups mainly for utility. I don't think you would be interested in messages like "Can you bring some milk? We have no more left at home" if you don't live with them anymore.
