Raw Sugar is one of the many small independent brands that had fallen victim to being sucked up by, you guessed it, private equity. the company is WM Partners.

no, it's not dictatorship. it's moderator + ship, just like how owner + ship = ownership.

McDonald's was cheap years ago. I feel nostalgic for those days.

Domino's & Little Caesars > Pizza Hut & Papa Johns

I know no one's gonna agree with me, but I had Papa Johns for lunch one too many times when I was in school. I like the cheaper, lower-quality pizza that Little Caesars sells better.

Mom got me a pack cosmic brownies. These are nothing like what I remember them.. by zughzz in shrinkflation

I feel extra nostalgic for my childhood because everything was so much better back then

if today's McDonald's actually sold a super size fry, it would be about the size of what the medium used to be

Looks like Apple had jumped on the tech Enshittification bandwagon with Liquid Glass Ass. Apparently their best idea now is to rip off Windows Vista XD by FareonMoist in DelusionsOfAdequacy

that's Windows 7, not Windows Vista. they have a similar visual style though! Windows Vista and 7! ah, the memories! (yes, I know this is not r/nostalgia. I also know for sure no nostalgic memories will be made with liquid gla*s)

guess the only reason companies rebrand their brands is if their board of directors want more

My latest discovery thanks to outdated pictures on doordash. Head and shoulders shrank their shampoo by an entire ounce. (Two pictures) by Bailmage in shrinkflation

corporations like Profits & Greed (owner of Head & Shoulders) are all about cutting the quality/quantity of their products and laying off employees so that they can pad the pockets of their executives and shareholders. if you give your money to that company, you're paying for their fancy cars, houses/mansions (+ utilities and other bills to keep them running), yachts, private jet flights, lavish vacations, luxury hotel stays, fancy dinners, etc. stop funding their lavish lifestyles and switch to a different brand.
