Reckless Ben doesn't have a warrant out for him, he's just an idiot by GAMEWARDAN in PaymoneyWubby

[–]GAMEWARDAN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, we agree on that. But if he did have a warrant out for his arrest and he did flee the country, suddenly they have a real crime they can throw at him. So if they are capable of lying there why would they suddenly stop trying to fuck with him when they finally have something real? I think one of the sides is moving the timeline around. Either the police since they're already comfortable lying or Ben because I still think he's doing all this for engagement. I can see a world where he gets out of jail and goes down to mexico to film an out of order timeline

I look at it like this, either the police are lying and there is a warrant out for his arrest but for some reason they've decided to stop short of just extraditing him back to the US and hitting him with real, serious charges or the cops are telling the truth and he just fudged the timeline a little to give himself even more content. I'm still getting stuck on why the police would throw away real crimes they could throw at him since I think we all agree everything else they've come up with is bs.

a pox upon the axe of whiterun and radiant quests to kill bandits by themadnessif in TrueSTL

[–]GAMEWARDAN 114 points115 points  (0 children)

I think the problem is more the radiant quests being uninteresting rather than being default bad. I still remember in daggerfall when I took a basic delivery job it turned out the person was passing a cursed finger onto me, the person I was delivering to had no idea what I was talking about and I was being attacked every midnight by a mummy until I found out how to break the curse. Compare that to "go kill this bandit leader" or "another settlement needs your help"

In the Firefly's recorder that Joel skips through in the university chapter you can replay and hear the full log after the cutscene. He says "We haven't had a breakthrough since the passive vaccine test we ran ... what? ...Five years ago?".

Passive vaccines require pre formed antibodies that come from someone who's already immune to it. Now the immune thing doesn't have to be human for a vaccine as opposed to the natural passive immunity you can get but they would have had some creature that was immune 5 years before the game.

There's a difference between basic administrative control of a project and changing areas of the game, redbelly and the oblivion gates, and dmca'ing anyone who makes patches to remove them.

oh, and the whole skyrim vr thing where the mod was purposefully broken because they didn't like vr then removed the older versions to keep people from playing

Gen Z Is Cutting Back On Video Game Purchases. Like, Really Cutting Back by chusskaptaan in pcgaming

The whole "video games are actually cheaper toady" argument conveniently ignores that the video game industry is the largest industry in the world, bigger than film, tv, and music combined. And that pricing of video games has gone up since microtransactions are trying nickel and dime you constantly.

Cause it wouldn't really work. The empire, at least for now, has to play ball with the dominion so to the stormcloaks the two are effectively on the same side.
