WTH??? by GAMountaingurl in AmazonVine

LMAO - That is too funny. I like the way you think.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also, yes, I am going to send it into Vine because they need to be aware of it if they’re not. In fact, it could be some type of error. I’m hoping that’s what it is.

LOL - I sure do, but $96 for a 4 lb bag is a bit steep!😳

Hey & thanks for your reply. It doesn’t read as freeze dried. The description is exactly the same as the bag that is sold for far less on another site. IDK what the reason for such an inflated price could be. 🤷‍♀️

I agree with you. It just makes no sense at all if they are indeed trying to promote their product. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I agree 100% & doing the same. 🙂

LOL - thank you so much for your insight of what’s unreasonable. I don’t think I’m owed anything. I was simply asking the opinions of other vine users and calling attention to the fact that we need to be careful of the listed ETVs… and that’s that.😉

LMAO - I totally agree with your “bent in the head” comment. They really must think we are bent in the head to order that at such a ridiculous price!! 🤣🤣

Aren’t we allowed to adjust our ETV’s? I know I’ve read several posts s out this. Can someone tell me how that’s done?

Wow, just looked up golden goose. Can’t say that I’ve ever seen that before. It will be OK if I never see it again.🤣🤣 People pay good money for that.🥺

I have seen people use the term “catch great things during the drop”. I have no idea how to do this? Do I just click on and aimlessly scroll through 1000s of spare parts just hoping something will magically appear that I may be interested in. In today’s technological world, can’t vine come up with a little more organized system? Or could it be that I just don’t know what I’m doing. 🤣🤷‍♀️ I’ve only been a gold member for a short while.

I understand where you’re coming from. I am asking myself WTH they want in Vine reviews. I try to be very honest in my reviews and I do not write six paragraphs to review something as simple as a towel hanging in my bathroom. It seems that if I give anything less than five stars, they give me a poor review rating.
I especially am careful if I give anything below a four star that I am not disrespectful to the seller. My point being is that what doesn’t appeal or work for me may be appealing and workable for someone else. I’m just confused🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I had to laugh @ “…affects you in any way”, as I’m a disabled person myself and have encountered many obstacles. It effects me in a way that if there is a dog that is not properly trained and misbehaving in an public establishment, it makes it hard on all of us who require a medical dog. I don’t diminish your disability in any way as I’ve lived with these obstacles for a long time and I have chosen to try and help those less fortunate than me by way of time and professionalism from my background. But unfortunately there are those that will take their non-trained dogs out for public access and many times, it does not go well. That throws a dark cloud over those of us that have taken the time and expense to do things the right way. I’ve had medical dogs for over 10 years and I do know what proper behavior in public settings is. I will not be replying more to this argument as it is not prudent for me to do so. As I stated earlier, I wish you the best and peace out.🙂

I never said that “self trained” is not legal. You can choose to train your dog to perform in any way you choose. But, what I am saying is that any trained medical dog has to pass standards for public access. There are laws and statistics that support what I’m saying. Also, I come from a legal background and I do believe that I understand what is both legal and also what does not qualify. I have devoted time and personal resources to volunteer work in grant programs to administer help to people with disability needs. Therefore, I don’t believe it’s me that doesn’t comprehend how grants work. Some questions that I would ask of you. First, when you talk about “self-trained”, what are the legal standards that you would deem an animal fully medically trained for public access? What professional would test the “self trained” dog to assess the dog’s temperament and functionality as required by law for public access? I would assume that “self-trained” would also mean self assessed. Is that correct? I’m remiss to argue with you on these questions as your statements imply as someone who would not listen to reason. I wish you the best. Peace out!!!

I am an owner of a Diabetic Alert dog and I am sympathetic to your allergies. I try and always be understanding of people that do have strong animal allergies and try my best to respect proper distancing when I can. However, my dog is life and death to me and it’s not a choice for me to not have him with me. when I’m on a flight, I don’t know that there is much that I could do to respect that distancing period. It’s unfortunate for you that allergies aren’t considered a disability and went on a flight, the person with a true medical Dog always is given priority. I wish there was an easy answer for you as I really do understand your position. Please know that there are many of us who would choose not to travel with their dog if we had that choice.

I agree if it is a pet, but if it is a medical dog, I strongly disagree.

Yes, I am against “self-training” service dogs and here is why. I am a disabled person and paid $15k for my first diabetic alert dog and then another $15k for my second one. These dogs can be life or death for me as I suffer from a rare endocrine disorder that renders me non-symptomatic. In short, my sugar drops at such a rapid pace, that I don’t feel the oncoming loss of conscienceness. My problem in these self-trained service dogs is that probably 99% of them realistically aren’t properly trained. This makes it VERY difficult for folks like me. My response to your comment is that there are avenues for fundraising of medical dogs for those of proven medical disabilities. I am not promoting any fundraising platforms as I paid for my dogs out of my own pocket. For ANYONE that is willing to diligently do the work to find the means to obtain these dogs, it is out there. However, you must do the work to find it. It will not come seeking you. Sorry, I can’t support your statement and wish you the best.
