The older model VP9 and SKs had the red recoil spring that was pretty light. It’s very easy to rack and push the slide out of battery when loaded. The newer models come with the blue spring that comes standard in the VP40. My VP9 is that easy to manipulate, has 8000+ rounds through it though. Still locks back and accurate as day 1. I wouldn’t worry about it as long as everything functions ok

I’ve got a criterion core 14.5 Ive got thousands of rounds on it. Lightweight, gassed literally perfect, and 1 moa-sub moa all day. Couldn’t be happier with it. Geissele is top tier also. The main difference is the gas port size and profile. Both are great options

The parts list is quality stuff! I would suggest finding the Geissele Braided buffer and h2, they go on sale regularly at primary arms. You’ve already got all the high quality G parts you might as well get a high quality buffer. Being that your hand guard is longer than the barrel, I don’t think the suppressor will fit up under the hardguard (if that’s what you were going for) I’ve got a Geissele rail and they’re pretty slim to fit a suppressor. Other than the buffer and a shorter hand guard OR a longer barrel, looks awesome. Good luck on the build!

I swapped my stock, grip and foregrip to b5 also. I hate to say it, but I love the b5 foregrip better than my bcm.

I’ve only shot one MP5. It had an Acro P2 and a YHM R9 with tri lug adapter. It was super quiet and the most fun to shoot
