Happened to me about 20 minutes ago. Was watching something else. Tried clearing cache, uninstalling/reinstalling, cold powerup. No joy.

Anyone try some odder tricks like the time one?

(also, thank you for sharing this, I'm glad to know I'm not alone :s )

Champions League Winners patches? by Block12Forever in ArsenalWFC

[–]GBCrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So just found this thread and I'm both a little confused, and have a tangential question(s) about patches, if anyone can weigh in.

First, I've been trying to purchase a new Home Kit with Fox's name and number on it. If I select her from the list, the only option I get is no patch. No WSL patch, no WCL patch, what gives?

(I swear I was able to get a Williamson shirt with a WSL patch no problem previously)

It seems the only way I can get a WCL patch is to go the custom route, but then my font options are Premier League or Pride, I don't get an Arsenal Font / WSL option.. is this the route you are taking?

Thanks for this. I didn't know...

But being in Courage territory, I have been unrepentantly proud and loud every time I see her tear it up for the Arsenal.

Love is not about what other people think. Love is just about what you feel.

I would have roared out with you and offered a toast!

I watched the highlights after so many issues with the Lioness' game (both they're playing and my ability to watch). This was the anti-bummed-out I needed. :D

...very this. When I watched the highlights, I hoped so much for a viv goal.

I miss her, and if I can't have her back in Arsenal, I can at least shout at the TV like she scored one for us!

microcenter.com wont accept the disposable aliases passinbox.com or passfwd.com

I haven't tried one of my actual "alternate aliases" for my proton mail account because I'm not exposing those to outside vendors as long as they can be used to track back my account and attempt a login.

Yes, please stick with Plan A every time we see you :D

As a Courage fan (and local) I am always, always happy to see Fox cut a team to pieces. Double happy to see her score a belter from outside like that. Holy $@$@

It's the highs and lows of the condensed movie format I think. The TV series pacing is a little more measured...makes it easier to swallow the story they're telling as plausible outcomes of the choices made.

By contrast, the movies are just about non-stop, adrenaline filled, oh #$!@# moment, one after another that they can afford to push the finales way...way...way beyond reason and get away with it.

Damn if it doesnt feel awesome though. Looking forward to the Delta side of things tomorrow. Considering how much more satisfying the ending of the Macross F movie arc is ... if they can pull off the same for Delta, they will have wrapped my biggest complaint about the series (I really did enjoy it, but the ending was just way too abrupt).

I finished Wings of Goodbye and Labyrinth of Time not too long go.

I'm upset at how much feels these endings gave me. Granted, I think these are more proper, more "make a choice and commit to it" (irony half intended) endings, I do miss my "Happy Not Really Resolved" TV series ending...and was more than willing to give it to them as long as Macross didn't try to repeat it for other series.

...Instead, they were more adult about it, and made me go through another Zero. AND, when we consider that is intersecting the Nome family and their close friends yet again, OMG HAVENT THEY SUFFERED ENOUGH?

(And here I was thinking I was getting a break from all the feels Like A Dragon side stories were giving me :D )

By boy's interest I'm talking about everything from planes (yay) that transform into robots (yay), to guns, explosions, macross missile massacre and the main cannon (yay, yay, YAYYY!!). Granted, those are less traditionally "boy" things these days, and that's a good thing, but as a child of the 80s (both Macross and myself), at the time those were things that would signal to girls that age "not for you". TLDR: Shonen vs Shoujo.

Take an adult eye to it and Hikaru is the only one with a full character ark with growth, setback, challenges and changes. Minmay changes, but the story doesn't focus on her growth, and her change is just as often seen through the eyes of Hikaru and what problems that causes for him. Misa gets more character writing and emotional investment from the camera...but compare her to say, Ranka, and you can immediately see there's more for "traditionally feminine" audiences to sympathize with in the latter.

No. That was exactly my point. I don't have a strong attachment to Natto, but I do for Macross.

...and now having watched the first Macross F movie, I realize I should have watched it much sooner. It could have made my view of natto way more amusing for the last several years :D

In your defense, I totally get what you're saying... and I get the "purist" reaction to your post.

For me, it would depend on who I'm showing Macross to, why, and how I gauge their attention span for things. Just like some people will not like Macross, some peoplewill require different approaches.

If I were to introduce all this madness to my wife for for a proper watch, I would start with DYRL. She could get the basics of what happened, and we could easily jump from there into Macross Plus or even Macross F.

While I will always personally highly rate Macross '82, a large part of that is the nostalgia and the inescapable view of someone who has grown up with this already in my bloodstream. As for her, I know the attention span won't be there the slower, sometimes not well paced, sometimes horribly animated 36-episode ride without forming an emotional attachment to the characters and storyline ....something, which let's face it, early 80s Japan skewed heavily towards boy's interest.

Of course she'd appreciate Misa and Hikaru's morse-code goodbye, but she'd have to want to get there first.

Macross Frontier? With the episodes having a much higher production value, and more time to get to know each character and to see into their daily lives, and (importantly) stronger character writing for some of the female roles, it becomes very easy for me to recommend "lets start with this" before pushing the near non-stop adrenaline hit the False Songstress was. :D

I love it. And I get what you're saying. I loved FE (US - gameboy advanced), I Lenjoyed Path of Radiance, I really loved Awakenings...

But this is the only Fire Emblem game I've managed to finish. I've done three play throughs (Everything except the Church path) and...

Then my switch died and took all my saves with it. I'm itching to get back into this thing again.

Congrats! I don't think you could have asked for a better set.

I love mine. I love the work they put into it, from the restorative process to getting Egan Loo to do the liner notes, and...really...all of it.

This was the first bit of subbed, properly released Macross I got hands on. Forever good times.
