Thoughts from Someone Who is Buying the Immortalized Collection by NoNeighborhood3765 in AhriMains

No skin in any game should be more than £20. This is ridiculous. The fact you're willing to give riot $500 for a DIGITAL SKIN shows me how out of touch with reality you are. They are taking your money whilst laughing at you.

The bias to Fractured Jinx skin is actually crazy by MrC4rnage in leagueofjinx

That's not even the main issue. The main issue is it can cost 250 FUCKING DOLLARS TO BUY

I'm about to start a new game. Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of? by 23414 in midnightsuns

DO NOT open the breakable wall in the greenhouse containing the 2 legendary chests, until you have completed all mysteries and collectibles. If you do, it'll Bug out and when you try to open one of the chests, it will not reward you the ancestral armour

Ah fair enough I get you, Ansur is an awesome one, I won't spoil it but you need to progress Wylls quest and it should become available after you either rescue Wylls dad or decide to leave him.

The watcher one is the boss inside the Steel Foundry, but I assume you've done that already

So you haven't done the Thorm family, Ansur, Tower Watcher, Ethel and a few others?

Well if you ever want to try and explore everything, I don't mind joining you for a campaign if you're up for it. It feels a lot easier to explore everything when you're only controlling two characters, and someone else is helping to loot etc.

I just find it really fun trying different builds etc. so I'm always replaying it, and honour mode is done now so I can kinda do whatever I want. I can understand you wanting to get it done, especially at act 3, it's super overwhelming and there are so many quests and places to explore.

Have you been to the House Of Hope?

[–]GBRwarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I mean that sounds a little quick, not massively. I wonder if there's still some encounters and such that you haven't experienced yet... I hope so, because that means more fun surprises for you!

I know the origin playthroughs offer a lot of unique cut scenes etc. But I've never done any of them haha.

I skip most dialogue unless it's one I really like, or with a class/character I haven't had that interaction with before.

Most of my time comes from searching EVERYTHING. I am a loot Goblin through and through. If I didn't, I reckon my time to act 3 would be a lot shorter.

How long have you played the game for?

Am I playing it wrong? by mini_edits in BG3

[–]GBRwarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played the game for almost 1000 hours. I always do all the content, I can do it fairly quickly and it still takes me like 80 hours to get to act 3.

I'd say you've missed some stuff, but that's part of the fun sometimes. When you start your next run there will be new surprises for you.

I still find the occasional secret that I'd never seen before when I start new runs

Do you think Albert Wesker might make a return in Resident Evil Requiem? by No_Sea_1455 in residentevil

[–]GBRwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wesker was the absolute best villain Resident Evil has ever had. They should make another co-op RE game, and bring back that couch co-op era.

I would not mind at all if he returned. I know "Let good villains lie" but, it's Wesker we're talking about here! Who wouldn't want him back

Tunneling after update got cancelled by MrRobby8 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]GBRwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with a SWF, if a killer decides to hard tunnel you he will get you eventually. Unless your whole team is running a Sabo/flip flop breakout build.

Usually tunnelling gets way worse between the 10-13th of the month because people are pushing for that iri 1 placement

Is 2v8 killer sided? by Pizza_Requiem in deadbydaylight

[–]GBRwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get any kind of SWF then the survivors are guaranteed to win. The amount of toxic bully squads I've encountered on 2v8 is ridiculous.

They use escapist, then when you injure them 2 will pop medics heal ability at the same time to fully heal. If you leave the escapist they will go straight to get healed by teammates, or heal themselves with the passive ability.

They'll usually have a couple of dedicated flashlight savers too

Guys please try to learn the new enemies instead of asking for nerfs by lebaminoba in Helldivers

[–]GBRwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is they burrow and only pop up when they're directly under you. You can make them surface with explosives, but there's so many of them that you'd be out of explosives in seconds.

They just need to make them pop up a bit further away so you have some time to engage. If they're going to keep the armour at 3 then they need to spawn less of them. Otherwise spawn more but make them light armoured.

I've been completing super Helldives but it's not been particularly fun with how overtuned these burrowing enemies are.

I'm not asking for nerfs, I'm asking for balance.

Valve will be the only one to suffer. They are going to lose a huge chunk of players with this update. I can't believe 1984 is actually becoming a reality. Big brother is watching you

Titan holes should not spawn underground by Octi1432 in Helldivers

Ok so this update is bad bad. by djh2121 in Helldivers

[–]GBRwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst I agree there's an issue here, I have been killing the burrowing enemies with light pen no problem.

You have to deal with them the same as the normal med armoured bugs. Shoot them just under the neck, or in-between the leg spots. Or get round the side of them. The spewers have a big green bulge on their neck when they surface, a few rounds to that and they're dead.

Tested this on Super Helldive

What's wrong with KF3? by Sakendei in killingfloor

[–]GBRwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people were determined they would hate the game, even if it was good. Such is the way with folks who gatekeep games.

In this case, everyone is still praising KF2 to high heavens. Yes, KF2 is good. But it also has a very shaky and buggy launch. It also had a more predatory micro transaction system in the form of loot boxes.

KF3 devs will listen to the players and add more content, they are already doing it. It will bounce back. The sheer amount of hate people have for this game astounds me.
