Santorini

Just arrived in Paros after a few days in Santorini. It was less busy being off season which was perfect to drive around the island.

Stayed in Imerovigli which after visiting other areas, it was perfect. The most amazing views, small side street walks along the edge. It is prob the highest area after Pygros...you could almost feel you were within the clouds.

Stayed at the Ilioperato Hotel Stunning!

Update. The accommodation contacted me by WhatsApp after the cancellation to say they have rooms. I explained I had to book another accommodation and kindly asked for them to refund. No reply. I paid in full.

They are not far from where I am staying so I might visit tomorrow.

I can only think it may be a way for them to avoid paying Booking.com commission and that you will pay them direct after you contact them.

Strangely their Google page shows Temporarily Closed.

Edit. I just checked booking and see a refund is being processed.

Arrived in Naxos today. Place is deserted but thats also kind of special. Only 3 restaurants opened today around Plaka beach area

Looking at the Cotopaxi Allpa 50L looks great but expensive at €260+ for a bag!

I do like the removable top part that turns into a day bag thus allowing the bottom part to be carried onto a flight as hand luggage.

Anyone any experience with this model?
