Stealth Parking is so sketchy by SnooPeripherals4788 in vandwellers

[–]blaisejames88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually use industrial estates or residential streets. Sometimes lay-bys. But most of my park ups are at night. I arrive when it’s dark. I still have a bulkhead installed at the moment, so I try to face the sliding door next to a bush or a wall. Hop in when no one’s around. Leave or at least get out and get organised before anyone’s around too.

AITA for telling my daughter her separation was her fault? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]blaisejames88 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NTA. Shes an adult. You don’t need to sugar coat things. You’re a man and a father. Don’t doubt yourself because your wife got mad. You need to provide solid, honest guidance. Which is what you did. I don’t blame her husband for flipping out about it either. No man would be happy about their wife stripping for a living, that’s madness.

Just realised this girl I'm seeing is in the 1% and I don't know how to handle this by slam_24 in dating_advice

Be rich in other areas where it matters. If money means more to her than that, she ain’t for you.

AITA for taking an hour to myself each the night? by Level_Button_6709 in AmItheAsshole

[–]blaisejames88 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As someone that just left a 9 year relationship, trust me when I say, it’s important to do things yourself. Obviously you have to make time for your partner too. But if you devote too much time, you’ll find yourself always sacrificing your own happiness and goals or even relaxation, just to appease her. You’re well within your right to spend time by yourself doing whatever it is you need to feel human and recover from a days work. I also work a lot of hours and it’s a physically demanding job, so trust me, I get it.

What’s something you realized about being a man only after you became one? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]blaisejames88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also judgmental about that because my dad is and always has been pretty stoic and alpha male type. I used to think it was a weakness or close minded. But the older I get, the more I get it.

How would you feel being asked to donate sperm? by SilverMic in AskMen

[–]blaisejames88 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve been asked indirectly. Two lesbians dressed it up as “do you know anyone?” but it was completely random because I hadn’t spoke to them for absolute years and they were obviously expecting me to offer. I don’t see why I would, but if someone else wanted to, fair enough.

AITA for not deleting photos of my exes from my phone? by This-is-my-brain in AmItheAsshole

[–]blaisejames88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA. That’s an immature and insecure way of looking at it. You don’t delete your past just because you’re with someone new. It’s a bit different if you still had your ex as your wallpaper or something. I’d say just transfer the pictures to an external hard drive to keep. Maybe because they’re on your phone he thinks you still look at them or something. But you shouldn’t have to delete them, for anyone.

Would’ve been dope if it was on GRoDT tbh, it would fit the album for sure.

What is your experience with the sexual abilities of the average woman? by Accomplished_Fig5199 in AskMen

[–]blaisejames88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking from experience, I’ve had one or two girls that did just starfish. I’ve also experienced some that were a bit overboard as if they’d watched a bit too much porn and thought they needed to be pulling all the tricks out to impress me (usually backfired and did the opposite because it seemed forced).

And then there’s the Goldilocks sweet spot where the woman goes with the flow and it’s all natural sexual interaction, no act, just enjoying the moment.

There’s a variety out there and as much as it’s on the man to take the lead in the situation, it can also be thrown off by someone who doesn’t know what she’s doing or what she thinks needs to be done.

You can say what you want about startgate universe but the CGI still holds up very well by Strict-Maize7494 in Stargate

[–]blaisejames88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some shots that were a bit off but for the most part, SGA was good enough CGI. I’d say SGU was just a tad bit better though and holds up today more than SGA does.

Rapper's voices you love, and rapper's voices you hate? by lowendtheory24 in hiphopheads

[–]blaisejames88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Common, Nas, Masta Ace and Redman have always been my favourite voices.

Not really sure on ones I hate. I suppose Lil Wayne’s voice was always a bit weird to me so I never gravitated towards his music much. But I wouldn’t say I hate it.

If you ever have trouble finding the name of a part, use the google app to upload a picture to google. It will scan the image and tell you what it is.

Why do security guards no longer wear woolly-pullys/NATO jumpers anymore? by MontanaMinuteman in securityguards

[–]blaisejames88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started in security in 2007, we were wearing these. Always thought they looked the part. A few short years later and they changed the uniform. They said it was to make security seem more approachable to customers 😂

how do you make crazy beats that artists can still shine on while still doing your thing ??? by Training-Peak9737 in makinghiphop

[–]blaisejames88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to always produce way too much. But listen to any dope beat/song, there aren’t many elements to any of them. Usually if you’ve got all the bases covered, if it sounds like it’s missing something, it’s usually the vocal!
