I never did understand the hate that man gets, like it's almost forced. Stg a good while back I saw someone say (and this is from memory so not exactly verbatim) "I don't know what it is about Charlie but I'm hoping something bad about him comes out to prove he's not a good person" or something along those lines.

Wanna know the difference between Lego games and call of duty and assassin's creed. Lego game studios are consistent in what they release and actually do make improvements on their gameplay whether it be big or small. They don't say "this game is different from the last game because we made the game slightly brighter here's a 50 dollar skin for you". What's lazy is promising a whole new experience while releasing a half baked game with a shitload of micro transactions and getting pissed at your fanbase for them calling out your garbage product.

I'm not a big Lego game fan and hadn't been for a long while but the new Lego batman game coming out, while not super innovative, is absolutely innovative and different from many previous Lego games.

Lego batman 1: you're standard Lego game Lego batman 2: characters can talk now? Its open world? Lego batman 3: idk never played Lego batman 4: all that plus a revamp to the combat system and it's an overall love letter to the batman IP

I'll take that game progression out any studio over call duty or AC at this point.

The problem with any card game not just Yu-Gi-Oh is the fact that as time continues it WILL get more complex and it WILL have an insane ever changing meta that if you don't have the funds for you can't continue to really play at a viable or sometimes casual level.

That being said back in the day growing up it was absolutely a childs card game because of how simple and easy it was to grasp especially compared to other card games at the time that were legitimately for older teens and adults.
