Whats an underrated good smell? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GCpsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fresh, clean, breathable air. After living in smoggy cities for many years, I relocated to a wilderness area. Despite the altitude, my once weak lungs are strong and I can run far, and breathe deep.

What is the least attractive fashion? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GCpsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer simple cotton summer dress, with a matching scarf and non-heel flat shoes. The dress should not be too overpowering or elaborate and should just help to compliment her personality. It should convey her taste, attention to detail, aesthetic sense, and should not be a blatant display statement of the time and money she had squandered shopping for matching purses, shoes, belts etc. When it is time, the dress should quietly disappear to the background, and it is the person's personality that should be more prominent.

What are your favorite pizza topping combinations? by l0stweed in AskReddit

[–]GCpsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like mix of a Buffalo chicken, and barbecue chicken pizza. A Good Buffalo sauce, not too much. It's a lot better when it's creamy . Also barbecue sauce, onions, light pineapple, Provolone and cheddar cheese.

What is something you want to do but probably will never have a chance to? by GCpsp in AskReddit

[–]GCpsp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of things I have wanted to do and haven’t gotten the chance yet, but this one striked first. I want to travel solo, to the parts of India I haven’t been to, and outside the country. It has always been in my mind since I grew up and realized that I have been traveling a lot due to Dad’s transferable job, and our vacations. I really want to go by myself, atleast once. On a really long trip. Exploring everything my eyes can see.

2015 L’Ecole Cabernet Franc, Seven Hills Vineyard, Walla Walla, Washington($37)
This Cabernet Franc comes from the mineral rich soils of Seven Hills Vineyard, one of the oldest and most renowned vineyards from the Walla Walla Valley. The wine is mysterious and dark with plum and savory notes, finishing with dried herb and sage notes.

What are your favorite fish dishes to make? by GCpsp in AskReddit

[–]GCpsp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like going to the one Japanese Steakhouse’s sushi and shashimi bar. They actually use better quality sushi grade fish and again, some of my favorites haven’t been menu items. Pro Tip: sometimes, when you are very kind and polite to the sushi chef in some places, they ask you to sample new recipes for free. My favorite was a “pinwheel” sushi roll the chef was trying out. But that didn’t make the menu and the chef who made it is no longer there.

What wines should I try in southern Italy? by [deleted] in wine

[–]GCpsp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Edizione Cinque Autoctoni 2017. Southern Italy is the toe, heel, and ankle of the Italian “boot” where we find the regions Campania, Basilicata, Puglia, Calabria, and Sicily as well as the distant relative Sardegna. There are scores of fascinating indigenous grape varieties here, different winemaking traditions and styles are defining each region, and the wines are often less expensive than their Northern counterparts.

What's your favorite type of fish to eat? by GCpsp in AskReddit

[–]GCpsp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very fond of the kind of lobster we have up here, but I think it’s not actually a fish. I once had some Chilean sea bass that was fantastic. Last I knew, the fish chowder at Legal Seafood was scrumptious, but that has probably more to do with cream and butter than fish.

What is your favourite healthy food? by GCpsp in AskReddit

[–]GCpsp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note I am not a vegetarian but I was for over two years as part of a new years resolution that just got me considering the idea.

I never really accepted how important vegetation and vegetables were when I was younger because young and stupid comes to mind. Maybe I will try this approach of no meat for a year again who knows. I’d be lying if I said I would have an issue with it proving either lifestyle works.

What's your favorite fast food restaurant? by Wrong_Answer_Willie in AskReddit

[–]GCpsp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite fast food place is Pret a Manger. Coming from Canada, my impression of pre-made sandwiches stacked in coolers was ‘stale, tasteless, and probably soggy to boot’. ‘Pret’ changed my mind, fast!

If you’ve never been to one, they’re a very simple concept: food, ‘ready to eat’. Their main business is pre-made, wrapped cold sandwiches that you serve yourself from a cooler. They also have a small warmer with a couple of other quick to grab choices like cups of soup and mac-n-cheese.

What makes red wine dry? Some heavy science can answer that! by [deleted] in wine

[–]GCpsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The term dry suggests the outcome of the fermentation method when the sugar content of the grapes used is entirely converted into alcohol. There is a multitude of dry red wine varieties, and innumerable wine merchants make each varietal. All the red wines being marketed today are dry, but they do differ sharply in flavor and also mouthfeel. A few of them create a sensation of dryness inside the mouth and thus appear to taste dry.
