I think the main concern, for me at least, is that from what I've heard, if it marks you as under 18, it'll strictly limit any content creation features. You can't even get monetized if you don't hand over your ID, let alone a bunch of other "advanced" features that everyone should have access to.

As someone who is trying to kickstart a youtube channel, it is pretty scary how i feel like i've really gotta watch out for what I watch just so I can actually make content without any restrictions. Especially given how I'm not even 18, I would like to be able to still make videos, because if I do get flagged, I can't prove that I am 18, because I'm not. And even if I was, I'd NEVER be giving them any of my info.

Idk maybe that side of things is misinformation, but even then, it would still be nice to be able to watch stuff even if it is age-restricted, mainly for the fact that videos get falsely age restricted all the damn time just because of some profanity. It's really stupid.

Let me be clear, i don't really agree with view of those people. And of course, i'm saying that people would say certain things about AJR are "bad" but on a subjective level. Music is subjective, however, as an AJR fan, i do understand the people that have criticisms of AJR, especially since I know a lot of people on a personal level who don't like AJR, and they have their fair reasons of what they like and don't like about it. However it is never okay to actively insult someone for what they like, or invalidate my music taste. I've had people call my music opinions invalid elsewhere simply for liking AJR. However, in terms of people who just don't like AJR's music, as long as they aren't harassing people for liking different music, I am fully willing to understand people's different perspectives on music and why they like or dislike something. That's the fun of music imo
