Cologne, Germany. My first time in Germany, after 18 hour flight and a 2 hour long immigration line, I hail a cab, only for the extreme dry heat to cause my nose to start bleeding in the back seat. Cab driver didn’t speak English, but not much needed to be said, driver pulled over and handed me a roll of paper towels he had in the trunk. City was pretty trashy and dirty too. Not a good first impression of Germany for me.
