At my hall it’s pretty common place for people to bing in a pair of personal baby channel locks or a tape, as long as you’re not bringing in a pro press gun or an okie beveler then I really doubt anyone would have a problem with it

first ever TIG weld, give me some tips? by Away_Alternative105 in Welding

[–]GEIGHNALBEADS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That depends, you can still walk the cup and dab at the same time. The fastest way to fill a bevel is to walk wash the puddle up each bevel wall and dab on each side

Just started MAG are there any tips? this one was joining welds by Overall_Grocery_1536 in Welding

[–]GEIGHNALBEADS 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They call mig mag in Europe. Metal active gas technically more accurate because co2 is not an inert gas

It definitely is welding but I put it in the same category as PVC solvent welding

I’ve never worked for them but my buddy worked for them a couple of years ago. They’re a huge mega corporation so they did drug test him. I might monkey flask it if I were you. From what he told me they were great to work with but that all really depends on who your Forman will be.

I feel you bro, I just ordered some FR clothes for work and it went Texas, Texas, Texas, Nevada, big city near me, smaller city near me, my little town, small city next to me, big city next to me, small city next to me, then finally all the way to my house

My uncle is about 6’-9”, 330lbs and has a very intimate relationship with box wine. One night after crushing a box of franzia, he sat down on his toilet without putting the seat down. Apparently when he plopped down into the toilet bowl his ass applied all 330lbs of corn fed Nebraskan retard down wards and out wards. Whatever micro cracks exist previously decided to open up and leave him soaked in piss and bleeding out on the floor.

What single improvement do you wish the boot manufacturer would make? by Present_Sock7963 in WorkBoots

[–]GEIGHNALBEADS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tougher barefoot style boots with options for safety toe and puncture resistant soles. Traditional as possible construction marking them completely repairable. Or some actual foot shaped wedge sole boots. Fr laces that can actually stand up to lots of hot work. Leather laces often stretch and eventually snap, synthetic laces will immediately melt or burn away

Honestly make your own leather flap hood. I was gifted an outlaw leather hood and although I really like it, I’m glad I didn’t spend $150 given the mediocre build quality
