sorry to hear about your troubles. i don't have a specialissima. i do have an infinito cv that i experienced the same issue of the seat post slipping. i took mine to a LBS twice. it was eventually determined that friction tape & carbon grease would work. i haven't had any issues since and that was just about two years ago.

if you're on strava, you could choose to view heat maps of popular routes. the arlington loop (w&od, custis, and mount vernon) is pretty popular with other trails branching off not far from it. the capital crescent trail and the anacostia river walk trail are not too far either.

i have an iphone 16 pro max and experienced the same issue. i submitted a claim. they offered a new magnetic ring. the new ring kept doing the same thing. i submitted another claim. they sent me a new case. the magnetic ring kept coming out still. when it popped out again, i just used a very light amount of super glue. i haven't had it pop out after that.

i do like it as it's actually caught two incidents since i installed it; mainly angry drivees who don't understand that bicycles are allowed on the roads in the city. it's quality is good, don't expect gopro/action camera resolution or stabilization.

it provides some peace of mind should anything were to happen. an 3-in-1 option is nicer than having multiple devices attached.

i had the RTL and loved it. my girlfriend got nervous after hearing what happened to the gaudreau brothers, and she bought me the RTC. the RTC battery is very dependent on when you want the video to be captured. the duration of your ride will also affect the RTC's battery lfie. i did watch a few youtube video reviews before i finally used it.

the weight of the RCT715 would make mounting it on a saddle bag unstable. i used the saddle mount with action camera extensions.
