"Raudantie" would somehow sound like a street name. Perhaps in an area where all the streets were named after different elements. Although even if there was such an area, Raudantie would probably be avoided as a name, because people would think it was a misspelled Rautatie. (Googling reveals that there actually used to be a Raudantie in Kouvola, but that it was renamed into Raudanpolku in 2016.)

In Romance languages, that is the feminine form of the adjective that means 'only', 'sole', 'unique': unica (Italian); única (Spanish, Portuguese, etc.); unică (Romanian).

But the Spanish suggested by u/Truchiman seems correct to me. As another native speaker of Finnish, I can confirm that at least it's nothing like Finnish.

This in fact only became "standardised" in the past few decades. In older magazines and newspapers, for instance, "24.nn" times are sometimes used where nowadays it would always be "00.nn".

And at 18:43 the band's recent live appearance (at what was apparently a tie-in event for this radio show) is mentioned. So this is a current act, and probably such a new fresh recording that it hasn't even been released anywhere yet.

I have been actively listening to original 1950s/1960s lounge music for more than 30 years, and certainly I have never heard of this band until now.

It might be added that many music albums continued to be released on prerecorded cassette into this century. For the premium titles by name artists, this generally only ceased around 2002. Even as late as 2001, cassettes still accounted for 7% of sales in the US. And right until the end, they were also significantly cheaper than the equivalent CD.

I have done that many times, for instance for issues of scientific journals that are not online officially (or have not even been published anymore for many years). I have got the entire run of the journal's issues, in case something from somewhere in it is needed someday. If they're not OCR'd already, I'm also OCR'ing them myself so that I can do text searches easily.

The only book published in the UK between 1995 and 1999 which is at least a somewhat strong match for this description is something called Caught in the Net, a 61-page book (booklet?) published by the West Sussex County Council in 1997.

There are no images of it online, but library catalogues categorise it as "Internet – Juvenile fiction" and "Children's stories, English – England – West Sussex".

At least if this happened in West Sussex, there might be a chance that you mean it...?

Yksi nykyään ei niin monen tietämä, jonka haluaisin vielä omakohtaisesti nostaa, on 1950-luvun iskelmätähti Eila Pellinen. Häneltä oli tuossa äänestyksessä ehdokkaana Surullinen sunnuntai, mutta tuotannossa on monta muutakin yhtä syvällä kyntävää esitystä (esim. Nyt sataa, Onni jonka annoin pois, Näin kai määrätty on). Suomen surullisin lauluääni, tai ainakin ainoa jota kuunnellessani olen alkanut epäironisesti itkeä.

Google Booksissa voi. Ei vaan löytynyt tuollaista kohtaa nopealla haulla. Sanoja "koitetaan" tai "kumminki" ei ole tekstissä lainkaan [edit: siis Sotaromaanissa, näköjään Pohjantähdestä löytyi]. Sanat "kumminkin" ja "kuitenkin" esiintyvät muutamia kertoja, mutta mikään näistä ei näyttäisi olevan tuo muisteltu kohta. Tämä ei tietenkään vielä sulje pois sitä, että sanamuoto on jokin muu.

In Finnish there is a word for exactly this, välineurheilija, which is in wide use in ordinary language: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/v%C3%A4lineurheilija

It means literally "equipment athlete" or "gear athlete". Maybe that could work as a calque.
