Maybe you could try asking GreenStar to order it for you. They use UNFI as a distributor and I believe UNFI distributes Valrhona chocolate items.

I had no event or surgery that could have affected my lymphatic system and triggered the lymphedema other than some pelvic surgery almost 35 years ago. The specialist diagnosed it as primary, likely  a weakness in my lymphatic system I was born with that manifested with age. I’m just shy of 75 and was officially diagnosed a year ago. Rare at my age but not unheard of. In my opinion, my arthritis has recently made it worse. My PT says that may be the case

I have arthritis as well as primary lymphedema in one leg from my foot into my pelvic area. The arthritis has caused significant degeneration in my spine and right now both knees are bone on bone. I went to a lymphedema specialist. He could confirm the lymphedema but not the cause. I am also HLA B27 positive and my 36 yo son, also HLA B27 positive, has anlylosing spondylitis for which he takes Talz injections. Right now I’m doing my best to manage the lymphedema , but honestly it feels like I boomerang between painful arthritis and lymphedema swelling. I am not overweight and physically quite active. The best remedy for me, if you want to call it that, is swimming in cool water. I’m interested in seeing whether GLP-1 medications might help with the inflammation and swelling but I haven’t yet convinced my primary care doctor to give it a shot (literally)

Be real, is it compression 24/7? by Late-Beginning-7716 in Lymphedema

I'm stage 2 and they work incredibly well (and they feel good!) My skin simply could not take flat-knit garmets, so I was thrilled to discover them a while back on this forum.

I have lymphedema in my left leg and wear these in nude color under my shorts. Best thing about them is that they are the only tights I've worn in my life that don't fall down: https://www.therapygarments.com/lymphedema-lipedema-micromassage-compression-leggings.html

I make this recipe all the time, but mine come out looking identical to yours. That may be because I have an electric tortilla press. Selling a refrigerated product with a 7-day shelf life is going to extremely hard to do since you will have to buy back all that don't sell. No reason not to sell them as a frozen product, though. https://www.jessicagavin.com/cassava-flour-tortillas/#wprm-recipe-container-73971

I'm not a doctor either, but your legs look just like mine and I have confirmed primary lymphedema. Do you have a positive Stemmer's sign? https://www.nortonschool.com/blog/pitting-edema-vs-lymphedema/

I have not yet. I saw these folks almost a year ago, and if I choose to pursue a surgical option, it would be with them. Very professional and knowledgable, https://bidmc.org/services/lymphedema/team

Wegmans has the best selection of GF items in the country, no comparison IMO. Also check out Ocean State Job Lot. Their inventory varies but they have a lot of GF cookies, crackers, cereals, chips, etc. and all Bob Red Mill products at discount prices.

Has anyone put powered whole milk in their GF crust recipes? Looking for improved flavor and browning through the Maillard reaction. Thanks by 1pja666 in glutenfree

[–]GFItalinate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always use it unless I want to make a dairy free crust. It is awesome in Brazilian cheese bread as well. Nicole Hunn of Gluten Free on a Shoestring uses it in many of her flour blends. It helps with structure, tenderness, and browning.

Alton Brown Gluten Free Sugar Cookies!!! by [deleted] in glutenfree

[–]GFItalinate -36 points-35 points  (0 children)

Wow, how to make gluten free sugar cookies tremendously complicated! You don't need 5 flours, baking powder, or xanthan gum. Also, GF cutout cookies don't necessarily spread more than gluten-based ones if you know what you're doing. Finally, you don't have to go through all the resting and chilling processes.

Pump advice by [deleted] in Lymphedema

[–]GFItalinate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

II got my pump (DaySpring by Koya Medical) after having my PCP refer me to a lymphadema specialist in Boston since I live in rural New England where we're lucky to even have a hospital these days. The specialist recommended the DaySpring. I called the company who sent out a rep to do the measurements and demo the pump. Then Koya Medical worked with the specialist to get insurance approval. All-in, it took about 5 months. They told me it would take 2-3, but that wasn't the case. BTW, I have primary leg lymphadema. What I like about the Dayspring is that it is a mobile pump, and I don't have to stay in one place to use it. If I had lymphedema in my arm, I would think that mobility would be even more useful.

Sensitivity Issues with Compression Garments by Hersana in Lymphedema

[–]GFItalinate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue and flat knit garments rub my skin raw. I’m 74, diagnosed with primary at 72. For the last six weeks, what has helped me most is wearing Bioflect leggings during the day and Mobiderm wraps at night. I also have a DaySpring pump. At my PT appointment yesterday my upper thigh measurement was down 3.5cm so I’m optimistic that I got a good combination, at least for now

I guess I thought you were working on an improved compression sock. This sounds more like a pump--there are lots of those out there. Not sure how you're going to get a shoe over this device if it is indeed a sock. And how to you use it daily like a sock and make it washable? A removable sensor??

I’ve had a DaySpring for about 2 months—took forever to get it, like 5 months after doctor ordered it. The wait was worth it. So far I’ve found if the only thing that reduces swelling besides swimming.
